Overall the condo was nice, needs updating but was very clean. The mattress in master bedroom was uncomfortable and needs to be changed but everything else was fine.

We really enjoyed staying at the one bedroom condo at Surfmaster. Excellent layout was spacious and provided extra privacy with a door that separated the bedroom and master bath from rest of condo. Our only complaint was the bed could have been more comfortable.

This year we we assigned 909 which is in bad need of various upgrades. 204 which we were moved to was very nice.

The air conditionner make a lot of noise. We told this problem 2 times at the office and they promess to us that will be repare in the day but the problem was never repare. The sofa bed was very very uncomfortable and the bed in the bedroom was also uncomfortable.

My husband and I stayed in this same place 18 years ago and it was wonderful! We were very disappointed this time. The sofa/loveseat were filthy and uncomfortable, the bedroom smelled, the drapes were torn and old & the balcony furniture needed replaced. Mostly the table. There was a notice in the elevator about having the water shut off between 10-11:00am the next day. Didn't say why. Took a shower after 11:00 & the pressure was so high, it actually stung! Then I tried to turn the water off and the spigot kept leaking. Told the office that same day and they never sent anyone to fix it. When we got back that evening it was still running so we called maintenance & had to practically threaten him to come out! His idea of fixing it was turning the water off! But, they did fix it the next day. One morning, at 9:30am we had a knock on the door and when we didn't answer they just came in and yelled "pest control"! We had to tell them to come back. We will never stay here again!

The condo had filthy walls and woodwork. The couch was falling apart and smelled musty as well as the bed. The carpet was worn out and dirty. There was mold in the bathroom. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Worst place I've ever been in.

We arrived on thursday afternoon at a 1-room condo and made arrangements for saturday to switch to a 3-room condo (next door) just after cleaning and inspection of the 3 room condo. After switching to the room condo, cleaning of the 1 room condo was supposed to occur... This was the arrangement that was made thursday afternoon upon arrival at surfmaster with the personnel at room 104.
This is not what happened. Unfortunately, we were contacted around 12noon on saturday by the managament of the surfmaster to allow cleaning of the 1 room condo since it was reserved and needed to be ready by 3PM. Since the 3 room condo that we were going to use for the next 2 weeks was not ready altough it was promised to us when we arrived on thursday, we had to take out all our belongings and let them outside the 3 room condo. It was not a pleaseant situation since only one of us had to pick up our family members that arrived by plane and the other had to stay to check all our stuff outside the condo at 85F.
We were not informed as to why the arrangements did not occur as planned... we had to move out... no discussion.
I just hope it was a misunderstanding or a miscommunication by the surfmaster management but we like the place and will return most probably next year. -

Location good - stayed in that area for years. Stayed at Surfmaster so I would have wifi and could continue to work. Wifi was down and the rental folks didn't seem to care. Toilet seat busted in main bathroom, cheap seat, easy fix. Horrible way to run
the linens, and clean up. check out too early - 11:00 should be the time. It is a shame to let Surfmaster go downhill. Liked Condotels and One Ocean must better over 20 years. Sorry - you should know. PS - Norm at the Sales is great - felt like he actually
cared about things - get him to review the rental division. Thanks! -

Surfmaster is a great facility with an incredible ocean view from the balcony. The beach is beautiful, the pool was great. I highly recommend the Surfmaster for a family vacation. The unit was furnished well but in need of some relatively minor repairs.
None ruined the trip and the management staff appeared to be responsive.
