We stayed in this beach house in September of 2011. This is a really nice house with lots of room and a really great ocean front view. There were 10 people in our group and we had plenty of room. The house seemed to be nicely kept up. Of course it had some wear and tear from being a vacation rental property but far better than some I have stayed in recently. My family likes to cook and eat and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. I can’t comment on the beds in all the other rooms but the one in the master bedroom that I slept in was almost as comfortable as my bed at home. I didn’t hear any complaints about the other beds. The Garden City area is very nice and laid back compared to Myrtle Beach but Myrtle Beach is only about a 15 minute drive away so you can still do all the stuff they have to do. The only thing I can say bad about the house was the cable/TV situation. The main TV was choppy like the digital signal strength was very weak and the all the TVs in the other rooms were very small but who goes to the beach to watch TV? :)

needs some TLC, found dirty overall from previous year, furniture in need of replacement. carpet on stairs, very badly stained and dirty, don,t think we will repeat next year, unless there is some action on the above concerns,

Our vacation in "The Big Chill" was great. My family, including my 85 year old mother stayed. We loved the house,(so spacious), the deck (with the most beautiful views), the beach in front of the house..All was terrific. The only exception was the hot water heater did not work and it took til the end of the week for someone to fix it. But what the heck it was hot outside and we did not mind (too much)...still had a fabulous time...things happen...
