Neagle House is Ocean front, located 1 mile south of Garden City Beach Pier. 7 Bedrooms: 4 up and 3 down. 4 1/2 baths: 3 up and 1 & 1/2 down sleeps 14, there are 5 Queen, 2 Twin and 1 Full. Covered porch street side, screened porch on oceanfront. Ceiling fans, Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a fully furnished kitchen ready to accommodate everyone. 2 color TV’s a DVD and stereo. Steps away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and some of the nicest beaches on the East Coast. After playing on the beach all day rinse off in the outside shower. There is plenty of covered parking. We loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked but had too many old and grungy pans that should be discarded. It would be nice to have beach chairs.

We had a wonderful vacation. The weather was absolutly beautiful. We would have liked the availability of a grill. A hose would have been nice to get rid of the bird residue....or sending a crew from the rental company to hose off same as cleaning the house.

We rented the Neagle house to hold our wedding ceremony in April. The house was perfect in size for us our 5 Adult children, 1 fiance and 1 sister. Our wedding day started out perfectly with beautiful weather, then the toilet in the master clogged up, and about 15 minutes later, the other private bathroom upstairs clogged and started backing up into the shower, then someone took a shower upstairs in another bathroom and the water started pouring through the AC vent in the downstairs bathroom. We only had a matter of hours before over 80 guests would be arriving for the wedding ceremony. We called GC Realty and they had someone to the house within a 1/2 hr. The plumber took care of the problem and someone else cleaned up the mess. The prompt service was great and allowed our wedding to go off without a hitch! The house was not spotless, but quite clean, the furniture in the LR was new and very comfortable. The only complaint would be that some of the pots & pans could stand to be replaced...but we cooked in every night except for the wedding night (reception held at Elks Lodge). Other than that the kitchen was stocked with absolutely anything you could possibly need! Thanks to the Neagle House & GC Realty we had the most perfect week at the beach!

Great house and great location, but there were some minor problems with the house. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes very well; The dryer took forever to dry the clothes; One of the curtains in the master bath just fell off the wall one day, and
most of the outside lights under the house where you park were burned out or did not work. -

We had 13 adults and two 10 month olds in the Neagle House and everyone fit just fine. The house is older but well built and very comfortable. The kitchen was also well provisioned with lots of pots, pans, plates, and appliances.
Just about a mile from the GC pier, Sam's Corner and Ice Cream were just a walk away with many other restaurants just a quick drive (less than 10 minutes) on 17 and down Murrell's inlet. Krogers and Wall Mart are also less than 5 minutes away. Golf courses within 30 mins drive were too numerous to count. Being this far from the pier also meant the beach was not overly crowded. We had a great stay and will probably return.
