Beaverton, OregonClean and comfortable in small-town-fun Gardiner, MT
Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The house was clean and comfortable. The only thing lacking was a dishwasher and laundry facilities, although there is a laundromat 2 blocks away. The town of Gardiner we found to be fun because you could walk to almost everything. Gardiner was a good base for exploring Yellowstone.

After traveling out West for 3 weeks and staying in hotels the Cowboy Lodge was a refreshing break! Clean, roomy and relaxing. You have your own private parking space in front of your accomodations, 2 short blocks from the North entrance to Yellowstone and an abundance of things to do within walking distance. Good food, great people. They also have two dogs that livs outside on property and my kids decided to entertain both Bo and Maggie or should I say the dogs entrtained my kids. It was a much needed and welcomed break from our hurried schedule and truly a place to kick your feet up.

AlbuquerqueGood place right outside Yellowstone

It was great to find a new 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo right outside Yellowstone. In particular, one that worked well for 2 couples. Gardiner is very convenient but the town shuts down at 9 pm. However, still the best choice of towns right outside the park. Nice to have a kitchen where you can fix breakfast and pack lunches before you head into the Park each day. The only thing that was a slight surprise was that there wasn't any type of living room space with a couch and chairs where you could relax. We ended up spending our time sitting on bar stools at the kitchen island. Also beds too soft.

We stayed at the Cowboy’s Lodge for a couple of days during our visit to Yellowstone. The place was nice and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is great (2-3 minutes to the northern entrance to the park). There was a grocery store on the other side of the river that had everything we needed.
Gina was very accommodating and nice to talk to. She also provided us with great local information.
The only drawback for us was the lack of dishwasher.
I recommend the place and will stay there again on our next trip to the area.

Dallas, TX"Great Family Accommodations"
Left on 11/09/2009 for a stay in September 2009
My family visited Yellowstone late September.
We stayed at Cowboy's Lodge, in the "Rodeo Roundup" rental, we loved the decor, the beds were so comfortable, and location is convenient to the north entrance. We really enjoyed having the outdoor patio with BBQ grill, being able to prepare our meals was a big plus. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. We would highly recommend Cowboy's Lodge. Our kids enjoyed seeing the deer pass right by the Lodge. -

Very comfortable, clean, and convenient accomodations. Walk to town on both side of the river made everything easy. Stone's throw away from Roosevelt Arch entrance to Yellowstone and close enough to the Boiling River to go for a soak after dinner. As a family of 4, having a queen bed for each kid was great. We loved it! Only suggestion is maybe curtains on the bedroom windows instead of mini blinds. It is nice to have the windows open for the breeze at night, but the wind makes the blinds noisy and the street lights outside require that you keep the blinds closed. We used the patio, picnic table and bbq a lot. Only disappointment was the industrial lot downslope btw the house and river, but screening was nicely done. We would recommend and stay again.
