Brief Description: Riverside Lodge is a newly updated home right on the banks of the Yellowstone River, just six miles north of the Yellowstone National Park entrance town of Gardiner.
Bedrooms and baths: The home has four bedrooms, three with private doors to the river view! On the main level there is a master bedroom with a king size bed, door to the deck overlooking the river, and a private bath with shower. A second bedroom on
the main level has a set of... twin bunks. This bedroom adjoins a bath with a stall shower. On the lower, walk-out level of the home there are two additional bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, river views and their own door out to the patio. These two bedrooms
share a full bath with a tub and shower, and one of the bedrooms has its own sink and vanity en suite.
Kitchen: The open kitchen has everything you’ll need including microwave, crock pot, and a large pantry for your groceries. There is a bar counter for chatting with the cook, and the dining table is off to the side with views of the river. There is also
a gas barbecue for your outdoor grilling.
Dining area: The dining table will seat eight comfortably. Just a few feet away is the kitchen bar, which seats three more. In warm weather you’ll be enjoying meals outdoors on the deck overlooking the river.
Living room: The living room is a cozy place to relax after a day of exploring, but you still get to take in the views, as there are picture windows looking out to the river and Electric Peak, the most prominent nearby mountain, just a hair shy of 11,000
ft. in elevation. There’s a CD player, an iPod dock and a 22" TV with DVD/VCR. And in case you need to do a bit of work while on vacation, there is a small office space in an alcove just off the living room.
Family room: In addition to the living room, there’s a large family room on the lower level with a wonderful old upright piano, a mini pool & air hockey table, and a TV watching area with a 36” Flatscreen TV, DVD player and satellite service. There’s
also a nice collection of games, toys, local books, and kids movies. Off the family room is a pantry with a fridge for having readily accessible snacks.
Setting, acreage, and views: Riverside Lodge is located right along the Yellowstone River six miles north of the town of Gardiner, the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The home is on 1.5 acres with a fenced back yard. Look in one direction
and you’re enjoying the Yellowstone River. Look the other way and you have beautiful Electric Peak on the Montana/Wyoming border. It’s not uncommon to see deer, elk, bighorn sheep, a coyote and, in winter, even bison right in the yard. It’s incredible country!
Outdoor Amenities: A huge deck overlooks the river with a private patio below. There is a wonderful fishing hole just down the path from the house. Depending on the water level, there is a small island to explore and small areas of sand to dig in. You
can wander down the trail below the high water mark as far as you please. There are many trailheads nearby both within the Park boundaries and on nearby National Forest.
Activities nearby: This is an explorer’s paradise! You could spend a month enjoying Yellowstone National Park alone. There’s also whitewater rafting, horseback riding, fly fishing, zipline tours, and hiking. The trailhead to hike up Electric Peak is
just a quarter mile away and the Boiling River is a wonderful place to soak in the Park’s natural waters after a day of adventure. There is so much to do!
Closest town and airport: Gardiner is about 6-12 miles from the home depending on which way you go. You are about 80 miles from Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport.Read more

The lodge was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a one week stay as a base for our visit to Yellowstone Park with the north gate just a few minutes away. Gardiner is convenient for groceries and restaurants. The lodge's back deck with it's view of the river was a peaceful way to end a busy day. The rental staff was efficient and communicated all information in a timely manner. We would highly recommend to friends and family.

We loved staying at this home. The location is great. The views of the river and the moon rising over the mountains were enjoyed daily from the front porch). Most surprising and fun was the wildlife we saw each and every time we drove to and from the home on the gravel road. We saw jack rabbits, coyotes, elk, antelope and deer! The house is also very close to the north entrance to Yellowstone.
