We are about to stay with About The Smokies Cabins for the 5th year in a row! We love them! We have stayed in Love 4 Two 2 times very clean (My husband is a germafobe if its clean enough for him you can guaratnee is clean lol) the staff has always been super friendly and helpful the roads to the cabins are paved and easily accesible! Ver close to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg We have stayed in 4 of there cabins and every one has been fantastic cant wait to see them in October 2013!!!

This is not a new cabin

We got the the cabin on Friday night to have to clean the shower because there was mold in it the soap holder was broke so the soap had to sit on ground the tub was dirty there was a pair of dirty boxers next to wash/dryer overall I would not be staying with them again I emailed them to let them know that it was dirty and I wasn't trying to be that person to get something for free they never emailed me back overall not happy with my stay

Thank you for leaving your comments, although I wish you would have called us while staying at the cabin so that we could have explained your issue as I will in this response.
To clarify the condition of the shower, I will tell you that it is ABSOLUTELY NOT MOLDY OR DIRTY. I emphasize this in detail for this reason. When the owner of this cabin first built it, initally the shower grout appeared as if
it had never dried. In other words, it remained dark. The cabin is now 2 + years old and still looks the same. I am very aware of showers and my cleaners know that I have major issues if I even see an inkling of mold starting in the showers. It is very easy to eliminate with bleach. However this shower is a different story. Believe me I have had my cleaners scrub and scrub and scrub and even spray bleach in that shower and leave it for over an hour to see if we can lighten up the grout and with that we have actually caused some of the grout to come loose just because of the amount of toxicity to the tile and grout.. It is impossible, that shower grout will always be dark and to these guests, give an appearance that it is mold, but believe me-it is not ! In fact that shower is probably one of the cleanest and most sanitized because of the intensity of scrubbing that has taken place. It will not lighten up but it is not mold or dirty as stated by these guests. The soap dish has even fallen off because of the amount of chemicals that have loosened the grout that held it in place. However, we will place a soap holder over the shower door per this guests comment. I will guarantee that if the guest tried to clean the shower, they did not get it any cleaner than it was when they arrived, the grout is and will remain dark, but it is not dirty or moldy. As far as a pair of shorts left near the washer, they may not have been seen by the cleaners when they cleaned because they were probably dropped down the side of the stack washer and dryer from the previous guests, which is located in a very "tightly fit" closet. Unless you are doing laundry, then only you may have noticed that a piece of laundry had fallen down to one side of the stack washer and dryer. That was probably the case as our cleaners do not do laundry while they are cleaning the cabins so they did not see any dirty laundry left behind. We are sorry that these issues were of concern while staying at Love 4 Two, but we could have explained the shower condition had the guests called us. This may have made the stay a more pleasant one as is by most of our guests that stay in this beautiful cabin. We have plenty of repeat guests that love this cabin and many good reviews. Its unfortunate that this guest was not aware of the shower issue and misinterpret the condition. They did not comment negatively on the rest of the cabin, so that indicates that the cabin could not have been that dirty. This really is a beautiful cabin and that is coming from the guests that stay there over and over. Regards, Denise -

The service was great. We were greeted by nice & courteous staff who were very helpful with all of our questions & requests in person and via phone. The home was beautiful, inviting, & clean. It was stocked & furnished with just about all necessities. The chalet is located in a quiet area with a wooded view. The drive up was easy because of the simplicity of the written directions given to us by the staff. It is located in close proximity of restaurants, stores, & entertainment areas. What I enjoyed most was the quality time spent with the person I love in such a beautiful home away from home. I can't offer anything negative about my experience here. It was the perfect getaway & I would recommend this home to my family & friends. I certainly plan on revisiting in the near future.

Wow! My wife and I just got home from another great trip to the smokies, and I was sharing our trip highlights with a co-worker. I told my friend about the cabin we had stayed in, and he googles it to find an awful review. To set the record straight, we have rented from about the smokies six times to date and have never had anything less than excellent service and very clean cabins. The first time we stayed on the road that this cabin is on, we stayed three doors down from Love 4 Two. We rode the motorcycle in after work one night to arrive at one o'clock in the morning. We were left directions to the cabin at the office. From the glow of the speedometer light, the directions led us right to our cabin. As for the road to the cabin, it's paved the entire way. One must think about what all is involved in building a cabin. Everything that goes into the construction of the cabin goes by truck - concrete trucks, lumber trucks, well-drilling trucks, etc. Yet these people had trouble with their little pick-up truck and trailer. If this road is so bad maybe a trip to the mountains wasn't for them. Maybe they should haul their bike to the beach where it's nice and flat. In a nut shell, our most recent stay at Love 4 Two was awesome! Simply put about the smokies is the best cabin value we have found.
