What's in a name? Everything. This 5 bedroom, 4 bath cabin has a view that can only be described as sensational, so it's name bacame Sensational View. This cabin has all the amenities and space one could wish for and is only minutes away from the plentiful shopping and entertainment available in Gatlinburg.

The outdoor hot tub is a wonderful way to relax at the end of a fun-filled day. But what really makes this cabin special is the view from the on-deck hot tub. Whether you're sharing it with someone special, or escaping the fast pace of the world, as you look out over the mountain, peace and tranquility settle around you. During the... day, the colors of nature at any time of the season are amazing, and at night the spectacular site of city lights or fireworks send a sweet serenity straight to your heart. Truly, this cabin earns its name. So make your vacation sensational with a stay at Sensational View in the Great Smokey Mountains.

On main level, there is the master king bedroom with adjoining bath and a whirpool bath, then a queen bedroom with adjoining bath. In the living room there is a sofa and recliner with an adjoining dining area. There is also another dining area in the gameroom which opens up to join the other dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, silverware, can opener, blender, coffee maker, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, toaster, stove, and over the stove microwave. In the gameroom is a pool table, a fooseball table, two fold out sofas, and many windows to enjoy the beautiful view. There are TV's in all the bedrooms, gameroom, and living room. The cabin has a VCR/DVD and CD player. On the upstairs level, there are 2 queen bedrooms and one full bedroom. In one of the queen bedrooms, there is a large futon and two twin beds. There is also two full baths upstairs. The cabin is 2200 square feet with high ceilings and sleeps 18 people.

On the outside covered deck is the hot tub with a table chairs and a gas BBQ grill. It is so relaxing and romantic to sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine and view the city lights of Gatlinburg. This is relly an experience you will never forget. We had our faminy up just before Christmas this past year and sang Christmas carols on the deck outside. The granchildren loved it, especially with a surprise visit from Santa. We will always remember these times.

The cabin has a large parking area which can accomodate 4-5 cars. We have actually had room to throw a football in this area. The cabin has a very unique look, haven't seen one like it anywhere. It also sits on solid ground, not like some of them that hang over a cliff.

We own and personally manage this cabin, so our rates are both reasonable and competitive. We offer discounts for repeat visitors, and we have many. See our rates in another area on this site.

Sensational View has a great location, Food City is only 5 minutes away, and the same for downtown Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge and Dollywood is only 6 miles. Ober Gatlinburg Ski Slope is about 5-10 minutes from the cabin. The entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain Park is about 10 minutes.Read more

No Cleaning Fee is charged and there is no charge for extra people, same price for up to 18 people. 10% discount for 7 night stays except Saturday checkins!! Large Discount for non-Peak rates. Please remind me if you have stayed with us before and we give you a 10% discount off our advertised rates. No other discounts can apply.

To reserve the cabin, a 40% deposit of cabin rental total will be required upon making a reservation. There is also a $300 security deposit, but if you choose to pay a non refundable damage fee in the amount of 50.00 which covers accidental damages up to an amount of 300.00, we will waive the security deposit.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a reservation, the guest named on the rental agreement must notify us either in written or verbal form of the request to cancel. Reservation fee will be forfeited on all canceled reservations. If you cancel your reservation less than 60 days prior to the arrival date the reservation deposit and reservation fee is non-refundable. If we can re-book the unit for the same dates, you will be refunded the amount at which the unit was re-booked, even if it is a lesser amount. If canceling 7 days or less, prior to 4pm on your arrival date, there are no refunds or reschedules.

  Traveled with teenagers for a conference. Cabin was okay for the price. Could have been a bit cleaner, but beds were good. Could have used more trash bags (only one trash bag for 16 people) It was close to downtown which made it convenient for our group It's a very steep climb to where the cabin is located so glad we had good weather. The view is very good overlooking Gatlinburg. Overall, it was good and a good value for our needs. Someone in our group left a ring and we received a phone call that the ring was found buy the cleaning person and was mailed to us.

  Weather is not a problem with this cabin, City of Gatlinburg keeps roads clear for access even when snow occurs. I really went out of my way to make sure this person recieved her sister's lost ring back at no charge. I was surprised she did not give us a better rating!! Our Confirmation paperwork says we only provide starter supplies, she must not have read this information.

  This home had a lovely view of Gatlinburg! If you plan a visit when there is going to be a lot of snow - be prepared with snow tires or chains!

  We had staied at this cabin for new years 2010, and it was a great stay! The cabin was perfect! We all stood on the deck and watched the ball drop from the space needle and then the fireworks! It was a really great location!

  Had a great time with our family in Gatlinburg for Christmas and this cabin helped make it great! We had everything we needed and it was very accommodating to a large crowd, including children. Definitely will rent here again!
