There were 13 of us in our group for a family vacation, ranging from age 19-59, and everyone had an excellent time! The location was a bit further out from all of the main attractions, but it was well worth it for the scenic views and the drive was not bad to get to everything. We had a few minor inconveniences during our stay that we reported upon check out so that hopefully they'll be fixed for the next guests that stay. There were a couple of burnt out light bulbs, the projector in the theater room kept shutting off in the middle of watching a movie, and the oven and inside grill pan were dirty upon our arrival. Also the outside grill is in need of replacement as only half of the burners were lighting so it made cooking on it tricky. One thing that we did not report because I just thought of it was that the bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom were very unstable, and we were leery of sleeping on them so a few of us had to sleep on couches for our time there. All in all it was an excellent vacation and these instances would not keep us from returning! I'd recommend Amazing Views Retreat to anyone! (Some of our favorite things that we did: Rocky Top Wine Trail, Bluff Mountain ATV Tours, Titanic Museum, Wax Museum, Cade's Cove, Clingman's Dome, Oconaluftee Indian Village in Cherokee, NC, Smoky Mountain Knife Works, Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, Davey Crockett Whiskey Distillery, lunch at Mellow Mushroom Pizza)

This was our second stay at the Amazing Views Retreat, and we fully intend to stay there again in the future. We truly love the house and the experience. My one sour note was the Internet connection. The house does have a DSL Internet connection, as described on the website, but the actual connection is HORRIBLE. I work from home and, thus, usually have to work while on vacation, as I did this time around. If I was able to maintain a connection for longer than 10 minutes, I considered that a success, and that's just unacceptable. I was late submitting the final grades for a college English course that I teach because the Internet connection crapped out for most of the hour before the grades were due. I couldn't maintain a connection long enough to submit anything. Obviously, that's disappointing. For most people, a poor high-speed Internet connection might not be a big deal while on vacation, but I'm sure it must matter to a few people other than me. Other than that, we couldn't have been happier with the management or owner, who had to come to the house to fix an air conditioning problem, which he did the same morning we called Elk Springs to notify them of the issue. The views from the decks are not to be believed, and the house, as a whole, is just incredibly roomy and comfortable. Love, love, love it!

Words can't describe how my family and I enjoyed Amazing Views. Yes its WAYYYYYY up, but its gorgeous. The bedrooms were very nice and comfy, the kitchen was very spacious and had every cooking pot/utensil you could ever need. The movie room was exceptional....i fell asleep in there a couple of nights. The only problem that I did have was the washer machine is very slow in washing clothes...other than that I give the stay a 100! We will be back!

This home was beautiful. The view was all that you could ask for. I was quite surprised at the quality of the furnishings for a rental. It is obvious that the owner expected an upscale clientel.
There were a few matters that needed to be tended to but they were all small...burned out lights, clogged drain, broken pocket on the pool table. However, I am sure that these will all be replaced/repaired for the next tenant.
I am very much looking forward to my next visit to this or another of the properties managed by this company. -

The house and remarkable mountain views were truly spectacular. The resort provided us with directions for a "back" way to get to the house, and we utilized them in order to avoid the Pigeon Forge traffic--very helpful and easy! I plan to rent the house again in the future, several times, if possible. Not necessarily the best house for people with mobility problems (elderly or children younger than 3-4 years old) because of the steps, but that's true of most multi-level homes. The house was generally clean, but the light fixtures and stove top and floors under furniture needed to be cleaned. There were also a few dead bugs behind doors in the downstairs bedrooms. Basically, the dusting and vacuuming needs to be a little more thorough every few weeks (much like my own house). Also, there were several burned-out light bulbs, inside and outside. These are minor complaints, though. We had a wonderful, wonderful time!

The view really was amazing. We had a small issue with the washing machine but maintenance had it fixed the same day. We actually had our wedding reception at the cabin and it turned out wonderful! It was truly an Amazing experience.

Everything was great even better than expected. I the only trouble was the water in the hot tub turned from crystal clear to brown in only a few days. It wasn't even used during our stay. For such a beautiful cabin the yard and gardens were full of weeds and were unsightly.

My family and I stayed for 4 days and the house was perfect! Beautiful setting and plenty of room for a family of 12. I wouldn't even consider renting another house when we decide to go back. All the amenities you could ask for and the house is stunning. HIGHLY recommend!

Only complaints was that the website said a sleeper sofa. We spoke with Patrick at Reservations who said the sleeper sofa was in the loft. There was no sleeper sofa in the loft. Also, the washing machine leaked and we couldn't get the ice maker to work. Also, no garbage pick up which caused the trash to pile up because the trash bin was small. Otherwise, we had a great time.

We stayed at Amazing Views retreat and it lived up to its name. Great views and amazing accommodations. The only drawback was that the grill was quite dirty and refused to heat up...minor detail but it did ruin 9 USDA Prime filets! However, don't let that stop you from booking this amazing cabin as soon as you can!

The pictures online do not do this cabin justice! It is truly AMAZING!! My family and I LOVED everything about this house! We wanted for nothing. The views were awesome, the Theater room was a huge delight! The enormous open kitchen, dining, and living area was perfect for our family get together. We have stayed in cabins before, this will be the one we choose from now on. An AMAZING VIEW RETREAT!! We loved every minute of it! Beautiful house, beautiful furnishings.

We rented this cabin during a cheer competition in Gatlinburg to stay away from the crowds. Our family of six plus both sets of grandparents stayed at the cabin. All had plenty of room! The kids loved everything about the cabin--especially the hot tub, video games, home theater and pool table. So did the adults! The view as promised was amazing! The rooms and beds were all comfortable and clean. My only requests would be more regular pillows (as opposed to decorative) and a map up to the cabin (as opposed to just written directions) to make the directions easier to follow. The house was exactly what we wanted and more, and we will definately come again!

This cabin was beautiful and served all our needs. This was our 3rd year to attend a conference in Gatlinburg and we hope to return to this cabin, but not in a 15 passenger van pulling a trailer. The roads were very very scary especially when you meet a school bus. We actually ran off the road and tipped our trailer. No damage but very scary for our youth group.

Pros: Cabin and View were awesome
Cons: expected to be able to have a fire in the fireplace but were told that we could not at this time. No TV in den area on main floor which would have been the perfect place to watch the big game on Saturday. -

We really enjoyed our stay at Amazing Views Retreat. My parents loved sitting outside and enjoying the views, especially during the quiet of the morning. The kids practically lived downstairs in the theater room and game room. And the kitchen is well stocked
for a rental. In the common areas, there was plenty of room to spread out for a group of 14. However, the bedrooms are better suited to a party of 10, 12 maximum. Regarding location, realize that it's probably a 20 minute drive to the main entrance of the
Smoky Mountains & Gatlinburg and you need to be cautious driving to the house once you turn off 321 - until you get comfortable with the roads. If we decide to vacation in this area again, we'd definitely like to return to this house. Only a half hour from
the house, you can raft on the Upper Pigeon River. It's fun for all ages (8 & above) and was a highlight of our trip. We also enjoyed going on hikes & creeking in the Smoky Mountains, the alpine slide at Ober Gatlinburg, and the driving tour of Roaring Fork
(we even got a glimpse of a couple bears!). The kids had fun at a mirror maze (not the Ripley's one) in Gatlinburg. I would encourage taking the route to the house that avoids going through Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. It's much less congested and you drive
right by a Walmart for last minute groceries. (There is a good sized grocery store on 321 if you arrive the other way.) If you decide to rent this beautiful house, I'm confident that you'll be impressed. -

From the moment we arrived, we all fell in love with Amazing Views Retreat! The incredible views, the inviting rocking chairs on the porch, the well-appointed kitchen, beautiful and spacious bedrooms, playroom and theater room made our stay feel quite indulgent. We definitely recommend this property.

Were a little to strict on the condition the cabin must be in when you leave tried t stick me with a 500.00 cleaning fee on top of the one included with your rental not cool prob will not rent from there again but loved the cabin it also had 2 bad breakers and our power went out 3 nights in a row they did fix it for isometric night 3

We guys go to Gatlinburg every year and have stayed in some really good cabins. But this cabin was on a different level. Amazing Views, pure luxury, everything you can think of was there in Cabin. Kids did not wanted to leave. And the icing on the cake was the Customer Service from Elk Springs staff. Great People.. Thanks to Dan in particular.

We were the first to eve stay in this cabin so there were some small things that were not exactly right BUT the people managing the property went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed and expected...They were AWESOME! We have been staying in cabins throughout Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for the last 15 yrs and this is the niced cabin we've ever stayed in.
