The cabin was nice but outdated, TV service was not good. All TV's need updated, no Wi-Fi service, hot tub needs replaced, the beds were all very bad and need replaced. If upgrades were made I would highly recommend this cabin.

Not what we thought!!! Lots of bugs!!!

We stayed at the Pioneer. I did already call to let the management know that there were a lot of bugs in the cabin (both dead and alive). The upstairs bedroom on the balcony side has a very bad carpenter ant problem and my daughter and neices were bitten everyday. There were carpenter ants coming out of the bathroom vent and there were at least 15-20 ants in the bathroom. The other upstairs bedroom had large cobwebs between teh bed and the 2 walls. I had to vacuum it since there was so much. All the TV remotes needed new batteries. Three of the bedrooms had horrible matresses where fall to the middle of the matress. There was thick dust on the light fixtures. There was a broken screen door laying up against the door to get out on the balcony. IT looked like no cleaning staff came to clean the cabin in a long time and there obviously was not any maintenance staff to check the status of doors and condition of the place. For what you pay for this cabin and for such a beautiful location, you really need to hire better cleaning and maintenance staff. My sister, my mom and I were all very disappointed with the condition of the cabin. If we come back we will definitely stay at another location.

This wasn't our original cabin, we were moved because the one we reserved had a theft. The only real problem we had at the Pioneer was with our hot tub. The jets weren't working properly. This was one of the main ammenties we discussed when they were changing our cabins. The rental company was very unprofessional when I called and asked about some coming to look at it. You would think considering we were only there for the weekend and wasted the first day with all the problems with the first house that we would get a little better treatment. The rental company would not return my calls and I would have to call back only to find they would have to call me back again. This went on till late Sat. afternoon. We left Sunday morning. They never offered to give us credit, copensate us with coupons or a free night. They only wanted to give me VIP status for the next time I rent from them!! Horrible customer service!! We had fun on our on thanks to the wonderful couples we went with!! Next time I plan a trip I will not be going through Aunt Bugs or Accorn Rentals.
