Stairway to Heaven is a three bedroom, log cabin located on Ski Mountain’s Chalet Village area. Unlike resort or communities, our cabin is on 1.6 acres offering great privacy, spacious paved parking and a nice flat yard for kids to enjoy, along with a firepit and charcoal bbq. Located just 1.4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 1 mile from Ober Gatlinburg.

Tastefully decorated, Stairway to Heaven has all the amenities you desire. There are three distinct, fully furnished master suites, one on each level with private full bathrooms, as well as Roku smart TV’s in every room. The cabin comfortably sleeps 10 with a sofa bed in the loft sitting area and another sofa bed in the living room. Challenge family and friends to a friendly game of pool or foosball in the game room, watch the big game on the 55" TV or unwind in the hot tub or swing on the porch while taking in the natural surroundings. Wireless high speed Internet access are available, as well as cable TV.

Stairway to Heaven is located on a private setting on Ski Mountain, 5 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. Located 1.4 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 10 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 45 minutes from Knoxville Tennessee. If you are looking for a place that gives the feeling of seclusion, but offers an abundance of activities, then this is the place.

1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths.

2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 2 roll of paper towels, 2 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, mini dish detergent, 2 dishwasher pod, 2 laundry detergent pod and kitchen trash bags.

3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot.

4. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! And it is charcoal.

5. Do you provide fire wood? – No, be sure to pick up some up, as well as starter logs at the grocery store or gas station on your way in.

6. Do you allow pets? – NO. Under no circumstances do we allow pets.

7. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.

8. Is there a community club house and pool area? – Yes, in Chalet Village, we have 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.

9. Is the price flexible? - We do NOT offer discounts, nor do we eliminate or reduce any of the fees.

10. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.

11. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate message prior to your arrival.

12. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure.

13. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us).

14. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.

15. What TV package / channels do you provide? – Cable TV through Spectrum including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, Starz, Starz Encore.

16. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited cable internet with Wi-Fi.

17. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 2 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out is Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.

“Awesome location with great amenities”

We were a group of 2 elderly couples in their 80’s, a middle aged couple, and a ten year old. We saw bears nearly every day from the middle deck. One mama bear had 4 cubs! We also saw a couple turkey hens with chicks. My son loved the arcade table and we all played corn hole. The only disappointment was the lower level bed was a queen, not a king. It measured 62” wide. Not a big deal, but if you are expecting a king, it is a surprise. We had planned to stay most of the time at the cabin, so we cooked/prepared every meal to avoid the incredible crowds in Gatlinburg. We had almost everything we needed including a huge spice selection. We could have used a mixing bowl and a 2 quart pitcher as well as a baking sheet. We purchased a few cocktail size glasses as the only glassware were mason jars and 2 wine glasses. Not a necessary item, but our preference is to drink our adult beverages out of a glass! It would be nice if there could be an inventory of what is actually in the cabin so we can bring items not included. We also ran out of toilet paper and paper towels and had to purchase more. We would definitely return here!
