My husband & i recently took a romantic getaway trip to Lakeside Mountain Hideaway. The cabin was very clean & very comfortable. The view of Douglas Lake from the balconies was outstanding. The cabin is secluded away from all the commotion of sievierville and Pigeon Forge but still close enough to all the attractions. The hot tub and pool table were nice anemities whenever wanting to enjoy a quiet night indoors. We would definitly recommend this location and we will definitly be staying there again in future travels.
Great stay by the lake

My husband and I rented this three bedroom cabin for two nights. The cabin is located off of a very narrow road out in the middle of no where. The view was great and we weren't right on top of the other two cabins. Very spacious and equipped with every thing you would need. The only two complaints, the toilets smelled bad. Probably a sewage problem or cleaning. And the juccuzi tub was not clean. We filled it with water and there were (bug parts?) or something floating around in it. Other than that we would recommend this cabin to our friends and family. Our stay was very peaceful and it was amazing how quite it was outside. This cabin did not have a radio so if your wanting to listen to music you'll have to find something on TV. We are planning on visiting this location again in the future. Read more
We drain and clean each hot tub after each guests stay. However, a few bugs may have crawled into the hot tub after the cleaning. This cabin is on well water. Therefore, the water is going to have a slight sulfur smell. The smell may have been from the well water, but we will have someone make sure that's the cause of the problem. We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon.

My buddies and I recently stayed at this residence and had a great time. It was very cozy and offered a lot of amenities. The location did have a wasp problem on the back deck and the place is very nerve racking to drive up to. However, it was a great time and I'd definitely recommend it. Read more
Thank you for the review. Next time there is a wasp problem, please contact us and we will be more than happy to send someone out to take care of them. Nonetheless, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay.

The cabin was gorgeous, very well kept and the views were stunning - the only draw back was the distance from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - and the 'interesting and very narrow route to get to it!
Would recommend the stay for someone just wanting a weekend away from civilization :) Read more
Yes, this is one of our secluded cabins, but we do offer many cabins that are within walking distance from Gatlinburg. Please contact our staff for a complete list of cabins closer to town.

We really enjoyed staying in Lakeside Mountain Hideaway. The home was very comfortable. The view of the mountains from the decks was just right. We're hoping when we get to come back, there will be more water in the lake. The roads to the cabin were a little intimidating. Read more
