Fresh paint brightens up this condo. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and... XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

  Thank you for such a great vacation in your absolutely wonderful condo!! We had a great time and the condo is just much better than a hotel. It is beautifully decorated and has such a "home" atmosphere. After being there for 5 days and staying out all day til bedtime, it was so nice to come in to "our home!" the staff is so helpful and always willing to do whatever they can to make your stay just perfect. We have stayed at Mountain Vista for the last several years, I can't imagine staying anywhere else!! Thanks to all the staff at Mountain Vista, especially to our Crockett County friends, David and Marcie Acor for always being so sweet and accomodating! Love you both,

  When visiting Gatlinburg again I will start first with this property to see if available and will request #308 (it's the best)! This owner has GREAT taste with decor. Had a little trouble finding lobby, but didn't drive around the property before parking. Price for condo was very reasonable for the fall season. Liked instruction booklet on how to leave property. Balcony was cozy.

  Wonderful stay, just like home with benefits. Just a short walk to town. This was our third time staying here in the same condo, can't wait to go again. The only negative is the unit upstairs needs a rug or pads under the dining room chairs so you don't have to hear the dragging of the chairs at all hours of the night.

  This trip was a four day trip with my daughters and grandchildren to visit Dollywood and to take advantage of tax free weekend shopping for school clothes and supplies. The location of this condo complex is great for walking to downtown Gatlinburg, for driving to area shopping outlets in Pigeon Forge, and for hiking in the mountains. This is my favorite place to stay when visiting the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.

  Overall, the unit was nice and clean, although, there was a funny smell. The new construction of the entire building was disappointing. The stone on the outer facade was falling off the building in some places. We didn't want to park our vehicle under any part that had stone work overhead. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

  We had a wonderful time at the condo. It was decorated beautifully, and was perfect for bringing our 3 oldest grandchildren for their first visit into the Smokies. The condo had everything that we needed, and even our 4 year old grandson was excited about it. He kept saying "Guys, look at this!" The kids loved the pool also, and it was nice that pool towels were provided poolside. We'll definitely be back and have told our friends of our great experience here as well.

  Love Baskins Creek Condos - Not So Much Unit #308

  We have stayed numerous times at Baskins Creek Condos and were just a little disappointed with our stay in unit #308. Normally the condos we have stayed in on past visits have extremely nice furnishings and other amenities. This condo had a small sofa and one other chair in the living area. Also the drinking glasses were plastic and the silverware was close to the quality of plastic. We really enjoy staying at this location and the people in the office have been extremely nice but we will not be back in 308.

  This is our second time staying at Mount Vista because our first time staying was really pleasant. I don't know what changed with the front desk staff but they weren't as inviting as our first visit. It was different treatment this time around I really felt as if I was bothering them when I asked any questions. There answers felt rehearsed straight to the point with not a hint of gratitude for us choosing to stay there. The condo owners are in the end going to be affected by the front desk staffs treatment of guest for the lack of service with a smile that we didn't experience. I really enjoyed the condo and commend the owners for making it so inviting but will be choosing to stay elsewhere on our next trip. I would have rated 5 stars if not for the reception staffs lack of service with a smile.

  Reservation process was easy and no problems with check in or out, except we had to hunt down somebody for checkout at 6am. The room was clean and comfortable, there were only a few quirks. Great fireplace and patio. Electricity went out in the entire complex at least once every day we were there. Not a huge inconvenience, although it messed up the alarm clock and made us late a few times. Location is quiet and close enough to be able to easily walk to shopping and restaurants.

  The unit we rented has large rooms with plenty of space for four. It is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area of Gatlinburg. The location is a short driving distance from hiking in the mountains to shopping in Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in several different units at Baskins Creek, and have found each one to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. Each unit we stayed in even had a selection of books on hiking, which we found to be extremely useful to us.

  This was a beautiful condo. The experience there was great. The condo had two fireplaces and it had a balcony overlooking the pool and hot tub. It was in walking distance to everything food ect.   While the condo was very nice, clean, and I think redecorated recently, we found something in the kitchen to be lacking. There were only two bowls. My family eats cereal for breakfast so this posed a problem.

  We absolutely loved this condo; however, we decided to stay an extra night and had to move to another unit on the 2nd floor. It in no way compared to unit 308. I would not stay on the 2nd floor again...Very disappointed in the beds, and the patio furniture...both were uncomfortable & the manager on duty had a hard time getting our paperwork correct for the room switch. I will always request room 308 in the future for the entire stay :) Thanks!

  Since we have 3 small children, we wanted a place within walking distance to all the fun. This condo meet our every need.The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms up to date.   We reported that the master bed appeared as if someone or something had been laying on the bedspread. Definitely looked like someone had rested on top of the bed also the throw rug in the garden tub area was kicked over and not laying in place. The remodeling projects in other rooms were disturbing and eliminated tranquility time which we had experienced in the past. Above the room sounded as if furniture was moving around or new flooring being laid.

  We loved the room and property since it was so pretty and so clean. It made our stay much more enjoyable. It was absolutely beautiful! The pricing to stay there was reasonable. Had it not been, we would've missed one of the highlights of our trip. We weren't in a hurry to leave the room since it was so relaxing. It was, also, a surprise to know how close it was to downtown Gatlinburg. Some of the motels/properties in the area were not kept as well. We were glad that anyone wanting to ride the elevator had to have a key. The property seemed secure, although it had the potential for not being so with the surrounding area. We rode the trolley downtown, but since it was such a crowded time the wait time for the trolley was horrible!!! It would help to have a suggested path for walking to the downtown area; however, it might be best to walk in the daytime rather than at dark. We would love to stay there again. We could relax and enjoy our family since it was so nice. It was the best part of Gatlinburg for us!

  Our family has been to Gatliburg 9 to 10 years in a row. We have stayed at other properties and none of them come close to the quality of the one we stayed at this year and also last year. That was the first time we stayed at this location. The convenience to downtown is a nice short walk and the quality of the rooms are by far the best we have had. Look forward to our next vist hopefully in the next month so or again next fall.

  The condo was great! It was very homey and welcoming. The beds slept great and the condo was very clean and modern. Friendly staff. I would definately stay here again.

  The property was immaculate. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The convenience to the strip was great and there was a trolley stop right at the front door. The building is secure and that is nice to know when traveling especially with children. We will certainly stay here again.

  This was our second stay and we would recommend these condos to anyone. They are in a perfect location, keep with the theme of mountain living, extremely clean, decorated beautifully. We cannot say enough about the experience, it was great. The only thing, though, needed would be a three bedroom unit for our next fall stay. Any recommendations?

  This was a really nice rental property. I traveled with my family and we had a wonderful time. The whole condo was super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We did not go swimming but the swimming pool area looked really nice

  Attended a medical conference in Gatlinburg, the hotels were booked and I was bringing my elderly mother. The conference organizer recommended this property and it was wonderful, staff very attentive, Mom felt at home and secure while I was occupied with the conference. Shuttle bus helpful, location was fine for those who can walk a bit.
