This unit sleeps 8. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, sleeper sofa. kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Living Room has a flat screen TV. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. our second time we booked our long weekend at the property. We are booking the weekend at the Indianapolis Travel show and will very likely do the same again next year. One suggestion so: as a property owner at another location, we have our management put a welcome note on the table and also have filter/coffee in the kitchen. After a long drive that is such a gesture!

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful even when we were late checking in Puerto traffic. The property was clean and comfortable. Trolly at front door was convenient and reasonable. We would definitely stay again.

This is a VERY NICE condo. It was clean and decorated very nice. The grounds of the condo were beautiful. It is located very close to downtown Gatlinburg. The only problem I had with the location was there is a burned down building across the street and a noisy business that had people yelling all night. I did enjoy getting to see a Wild Bear on the way back to the condo from downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future.

Overall stay was good, it was our 2nd time to stay at Baskins Creek and would stay there again. Accomodations & location are excellent. Minor disappointments of Unit 402 were: the extra pillows for the pull out bed were terrible, they were flat/old and there were no pillow cases or extra linens. We had arrived later in evening and could not get sheets or pillow cases until the next day. I would ask the owners to put new & better spare pillows in unit (for the pull out couch). It's such a small expense, but would make a huge difference for guests who spend good money for the unit. Beds were "ok", not much support. Vent over bed in Master Bedroom was blowing right on us, hard to sleep. Matress pad, under sheets, was like plastic and kept slipping off mattress while trying to sleep, very irritating and noisy. There were 3 TVs, but only 2 remote controls. Hot Tub was not hot. It would help if front desk had given us more info when we checked in, such as the trolley stopping in front, how often?, where does trolley go?, pool/hot tub info, map of area, etc. Enjoyed stay overall and hope to come back soon.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Gatlinburg. The facility is so clean and furnished so nicely that you feel you are the first people to stay there and you cannot ask for a better location We will continue to book here when we return which hopefully will not be too far in the distant future.

Loved the condo & the fact that we could get it at such an affordable rate made us love it even more!! It was very clean & beautifully decorated. The only problem to report was a clogged bathroom sink which I'm sure the super-helpful staff would have fixed immediately if we had had the time to report it. We will go back!!

Great place! Loved the convenience to town. Nice, clean and kitchen was well stocked except the absence of dish cloths. Had to use a dish towel as dish cloth. Recommend travelers bring disposable dish cloths. We would love to return to Baskins Creek and enjoy our mountain experience, again!

402 was very clean and all furnishings were like new. Ample appliences in the kitchen.
Well decorated with plush furniture.The check-in was ajoy and parking is out of weather.

We have stayed several places in Gatlinburg & Baskins Creek is at the top of our list from now on. We loved the place! The staff was very pleasant & helpful. Our condo unit was very clean & comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony

The stay was great - accommodations are wonderful. My only complaint was I called the following day after checkout to report I felt I left my phone charger in the room and no one ever followed up to let me know if the charger was found.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baskins Creek and our unit (402) was beautifully appointed with all modern amenities. We felt right at home in the comfortable surroundings.
Although we had no complaints, we'd like to offer a few suggestions for your consideration: 1) lower the water temperature in the pool a few degrees, especially when the outdoor temps are in the 80s-90s (as during our visit); 2) fluffier pillows would be appreciated; 3) a 'grab bar' or some similar safety feature in the showers would be appreciated by senior visitors.Response from Mountain Vista Luxury Rentals - 07/01/2011

We were very pleased with our stay, the condo was clean, very nicely updated and very spacious. The kitchen was beautiful and everything we needed was there. Only one complaint was the shower in the master. It leaked right onto the floor and had to be mopped up after each shower. We will definitely come again next year.

This is a lovely and comfortable unit. However, there is a musty, moldy smell, most notably in the master bedroom. Had the same unit in 2009. Smell was there then as well. Notified mgmt at checkout only to find smell still there this year. We will select a different unit next time. Love the facility. A LOT of police activity several consecutive nights at the establishment across the way was a bit unsettling. Many people and cars in and out of there most of the night. Not sure how safe area is.

Great place to stay. Very nice condo. Very clean,very nicely decorated. We had a 2BR unit and there was lots of room. It looked like there was a fire pit around the pool and an inviting hot tub, but we did not have time on our short trip to us them. You had to have your key to get in the elevator which made the rooms very secure. Town was just a short walk and very close to the Pancake Pantry and Ole Smokey Candy Kitchen our favorite places.

We were not aware that the jacuzzi was not going to be made available this year (it was last year)and we had brought our swimsuits. This has become one of our favorite places to visit. One gets used to the little things. No longer did they have games available for the gusts to use..you now have to rent the. We missed the cookies in the early evenings, but they said they no longer provided those to their guests. Like I said, the "little" things add up when it comes time to choosing a place to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will likelycome again.

baskins creek 402 was lovely and comfortable. the only concern was a musty/mildewy smell in the master bedroom. i awoke each morning with a headache which makes me wonder if there is a mold problem in that room. we will definitely stay again though. very convenient covered parking and within easy walking distance to the parkway.

This condo was above and beyond our expectations. We had a very restful vacation. The condo, above all was VERY clean and comfortable. It was also very convenient to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We enjoyed walking the short distance even though it was drizzling rain every day. We will definetly be back.

MVLR-Baskins Creek 402 was fantastic!Though the complex was located approximately 2 miles from Gatlinburg's main tourist thoroughfare, we were provided beautiful scenery, solitude (if wanted), and great amenities. The suite was equipped with everything we needed. More time was the only thing we were left without enough of.
