This condo has just been repainted.This unit sleeps 8. King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, sleeper sofa. kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. We have stayed at the Baskins Creek condos several times over the last few years. It is our favorite place to stay. The complex is always spotless and looks like it has been painted everytime we go. This condo is awesome with a great view off balcony and the mattresses are so good that our friends that went with us said he had not slept that good in years and went an bought new mattresses when he got back in town. Great place to stay.

All aspects of my stay were enjoyable. My only complaint was the beds. The mattresses seemed very worn and old. Aside from that, I had no other complaints and plan to return in the future.

We stayed at the Mountain Vista 4th of July week in the Baskin Creek. The condo was very roomy and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a short walks distance from downtown Gatlinburg which we found to be very convenient. We were very pleased with our stay and plan to visit again next year!

The 2 bedroom condo was very spacious and clean. The master bedroom had a king bed with the bathroom attached. This bathroom was also accessible via the entry area. The second bedroom had two double beds and a large bathroom as well. The condo was nicely furnished and well-maintained. The pool was beautiful also. This location was a very easy walk to downtown Gatlinburg (light 6). The only upgrade would be to get rid of the tube tv's and add flat screens.

Everything was wonderful with the condo,we stay here often. The desk staff left a lot to be desired. This is the first time we have stayed and felt like a burden. It started with reservation and continued when we checked in. Usually the staff is overly friendly, but this time not so much.

My family of four visited for 3 nights this January. We absolutely loved Baskins Creek 403. The view of the city at night was just what I had hoped for. The room was huge and spotless and the beds were all super comfortable. The walk to the main strip was no more than 5 minutes...very convenient! My husband is trying to convince me to buy a condo here! Great vacation!!!

As usual, our stay was nothing short of spectacular! This is THE BEST resort to stay at in Gatlinburg hands down. It is extremely clean, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and the staff always make you feel like family! We hate leaving. This is our home away frome home! Beautiful appearance when you walk in. Master bedroom door didn't lock which made using jacuzzi and intimacy difficult with kids. Paper thin walls-neighbors above noisy and could hear anyone walking or talking down the hall. Jacuzzi had to be wiped down. "Mountain view" room consisted of run-down hotels beneath you...not a pretty sight. Would not recommend to someone in warm weather because you wouldn't want to use your balcony. The price was good. You get what you pay for.

Honestly! I have stayed in over 30 hotels in Gatlinburg and this is by far THE best! Once you stay at Mountain Vista, you will have found your "home away from home." These condos are immaculate and beautifully decorated. They are spacious, cozy, comfortable and have every amenity you could wish for. Did I mention they are IMMACULATELY clean? That is so important. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool and pool area is very inviting and always well maintained. We just love this place. I will NEVER stay anywhere else. If I can't get a room here...I stay home! That's how much I LOVE it! It is a 3 minute walk into town. The staff is abosulutely first class. They are all so sweet and friendly and professional. They go out of there way to accommodate you and make your stay comfortable for you and your family. I could go on and on. BOTTOM LINE: STAY HERE! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Several light fixtures not working.
Dryer screen/filter torn to pieces.
I cut my finger on the broken screen.
Dishwasher half full and not locked.
Not sure if dishes were dirty or clean.
Only had one trash bag, was promised two.
Poor water pressure in master bath.
Too few drinking glasses (3 or 4).
Great view of cheap motel next door which had smashed up cars with flat tires in the parking lot there all week. -

The condo was very nice. I tried out the jacuzzi tub and found that the drain is tricky, you have to really push it down or you lose water. Also, if you take a bath in there you will run out of hot water because it is a huge tub to fill. I was surprised to find that there were no coffee filters or a hair dryer but those are very minor things. Overall it was a great few days, I will stay there again and have already recommended it to friends.

Enjoyed our stay eccept for the water heater going out again this year. Also I wasn't very pleased when I had no parking place on New Years Eve. I was attempting to park at app. 7:00 PM and was told the unauthorized vehicles would be checked and towed at 9:00 PM.

Overall. yjis was a wonderful stay. Nothing but great things to say about Baskins Creek. If you are looking for a negative comment (and I don't think that this really is negative) it would be the fact that the rooms need to be discounted when your place is not full. During our stay, there were many rooms vacant. Knock 30 or 40 bucks off your rate and guess what---they will fill up! We'll be back---but I will ask for a discounted rate. Thanks!!

The hot water heater didn't work. We never had enough hot water to shower let alone make use of the hot tub which was part of what we paid for. We reported this problem the first day there and every day of our stay. We were never offered another room or any resolution to our problem. Service concerning this reported problem was not handled promptly. Even the repairman told us he would have come back after his first visit but he was not called at the time we informed the manager. We understand our miserable stay was not the fault of the owners, we have booked for the same time slot this year. The token we received as compensation for our troubles was insulting compaired to the cost of our stay.

This is the best and most convenient place to stay in Gatlinburg. These condos are right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg yet they sit in an area that is quiet and very relaxing. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. They have great perks for kids of all ages, i.e. video games and consoles to play them, 100's of great movies, great pool and hot tub area, etc. The only regret that i have is that i wish I had enough money to invest in one so I could stay there all the time.
