King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, sleeper sofa. kitchen with all appliances and cooking utiesils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. We have been visiting Gatlinburg for 30 years. We have stayed in various hotels and cabins. Mountain Vista is one of our new favorites by far. Great location and beautiful accomadations.

Lampshade was broken, 2 or 3 bulbs were out, one was broken off at the base, and there was an active bees nest on balcony. Called for maintenance and most was taken care of, but should have been part of normal room check prior to guest arrival.

This is the 2nd time that i've rented a condo from Mountain Vista, and this room was even nicer than the previous one. Well decorated, well maintained, plenty of amenities, and just 2 blocks from downtown! What more could you ask for?

Every 2 years my brother and sisters get together for a family reunion some where in the midwest. Each time we take turns planning. It was my turn and my spouse and I had our eyes on these newly built condos within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. We had a reunion in Gatlinburg once before and everyone was looking forward to going back. Sara did a wonderful job arranging everyone their accommodations.
There is plenty to do for everyone, it's just a matter of having enough time. -

Have been to the Smokies many times but never stayed in a condo while there. Had no recommendations from anyone who had. Took a chance. Everything was perfect. Clean, comfortable, good location - everything we were looking for. I just hope I get the chance to go back soon. Would love to stay there again.

We will definitely be returning! Perfect location. Just a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg, even with three little kids. Loved being so close to the Arts & Crafts trail as well. Kids loved the pool. My only complaint is that the bath towels and kitchen towels were worn out and mismatched/discolored. Other than that everything was clean and updated. Can't wait to visit again!

This was a great property. Spotless, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Great location right off the parkway, within walking distance to everything! Trolley stop right in front of the resort was nice as well. This trip was for my husband and I, but can't wait to return with the kiddos. Definately would stay with unit 411 again!

My only complaint about Gatlinburg is how difficult it is to find a grocery store. You have to drive to Pigeon Forge! This is a wonderful condo. Cozy and comfortable. Felt like home.

I'm sorry you had trouble with the grocery. Please ask us at the front desk for direction we have a map for Sevier Co and the closet grocery was only about a 5 min. drive from the condos. Once again I' am sorry for your inconveniece.

My second visit an am planning a third in October '11. I've been coming to Gatlinburg for 40 years and have stayed in several nice places. This, by far, is the best. Great location. Can walk downtown. My next trip will include my entire family. "The best in town".

This is the second time we have stayed at Baskins Creek and loved it again. We probably won't even look for another place. It is within walking distance of the Parkway and close enough to the mountains that you don't feel like your right in town either. We love it.Very clean...two bedrooms that my brother and sister-in-law could join us and we could visit and do a little cooking also saving on some money vs. a hotel room and eating every meal out. Loved the balcony and enjoyed the pool.Also loved the fact that you needed your room key to even get on the elevator from the parking area...felt safer. Thank you so much for another wonderful stay. We go to Gatlinburg often and this is the only place we ever stay. So close to downtown you can walk and not have to find a place to park. The rooms and property are extremely clean and the staff treat you as family. We recommend Baskins Creek to everyone we know going to Gatlinburg. We always have a wonderful nights sleep on the most comfortable beds away from home.

This condo was within walking distance of the downtown area so we did not use our car much during our holiday stay which was very nice. When we did have to leave we had very lite traffic to deal with. And the place had everything we needed to make a great Thanksgiving dinner while we were there. Will definitely look to stay at Mountain Vista again.

We were not as happy this time we stayed. Upon time to go to bed the first night stay, we discovered that the mattress cover and skirt had some stains on them. We reported it to front dress around 9:00 pm. We were told that someone would be right up. But no one showed up. We stayed up till after 11:00PM waiting on someone to take care of this issue. We had to put towels over the stains to be able to sleep in the bed that night. I went to front desk the next morning and we told there was no spare bed cover or bed skirts that those would have to be washed and be put back on and the ladies on the night shift should have told us that. It took all of that day to get this issue resolved. We feel that when the last person that made this bed before we arrived could not help but notice these stains and should have taken care of the problem before we arrived. Also as big as a place as this is there should be spare mattress covers and bed skirts that can be changed out in a timely manner.

I booked a 3 night stay at the Mountain Vista and was so thrilled when I entered the unit. I am a timeshare owner and always stay at a timeshare unit on my annual vacation but my stay at the Mountain Vista, a short 3 nights in what we thought would be a fairly nice hotel suite, of sorts, was not expected to be as wonderful as it was. The unit was just as lovely as any timeshare . It was clean and well furnished and I slept better in the bed there than in my own bed. The complex was so nice and the staff went above and beyond. My family and I were so very pleased here and wished we had planned a longer stay.we will definitely book here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our condo at Baskins Creek. It was beautiful. We would highly recommend to anyone that they stay in these condo's and especially the beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and convenient to town condo #411 that we had for our trip. A big Thank You to the owner who allowed us the use of their home. We had a wonderful stay. It was just two blocks from the main town so we walked every where. The Ripleys Aquarium was great. Since Gatlinburg charges visitors to park in their town to sight see it was nice to have a condo with the parking included for our stay. The Smokey Mountains are just up the block as well. Took hikes at Laurel and Grotto Falls and watched a bear eating leaves off of a tree. Spectacular. Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge wonderful as well.

I loved the resort. It is in a great location and is very peaceful. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy either time to yourself or you can be with others. It is close to everything with easy access.Friendly people working there. Just an overall great place!

Our refrigerator wasn't working when we arrived. Messed with it all night and then the next day, switch refrigerators. It was a hassle keeping our food cold and user friendly. Plus it took up our time until noon the next day before we could leave our room.

WE HAD A GREAT STAY AT MOUNTAIN VISTA. OUR CONDO WAS BEAUTIFUL. WE LOVED THE DECOR. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. WE COULD WALK JUST A FEW HUNDRED FEET TO THE PARKWAY. THAT SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY ON PARKING. I WILL STAY AT MOUNTAIN VISTA AGAIN REAL SOON.

Baskins Creek condos is a very pleasant retreat. I have stayed in units 403, 411 and 414. They are all very nice and plenty spacious for our familys' needs. Having a condo scenario in the heart of Gatlinburg is a pleasant experience because it enables you to "spread out" and relax as if you're at a small home. With a kitchen, dining area and living room - all your immediate needs are met for all to enjoy. I especially like having the washer and dryer. Being able to wash your towels and clothing during the stay may seem a like a lot less vacation and too much work, but the way I see it... while I'm having fun I can also get that dreaded laundry done BEFORE I get back home! It may sound silly, but my biggest compliment will have to go to the bathrooms setup. Both bathrooms are well equipped with plenty of countertop space, double vanities and cabinetry. Thank you! I have stayed in so many places where your trip can all of a sudden become unpleasant because the bathroom space is so limited for all the guests. The design of Baskins Creek condos was well thought out and my stay was nothing less than enjoyable; I especially like the locations of units 403 and 414 because of the views. I'm not big on cramped hotel spaces - Thanks for the refreshing change in the heart of Gatlinburg! We walked down to the strip of Gatlinburg several times during our stay. We will be back for another weekend family retreat... we enjoyed it thoroughly. p.s. my only "nitpicking" for bettering the stay would be the bed sheets and towels by the pool. For some reason, they both had a very sour smell. I know they had definitely been cleaned, but the smell was strong. Luckily, we were able to wash them again on our own. Don't know if this can be prevented but I just wanted to let you guys know (I only experienced this in unit 414). *Not complaining; just trying to help you guys out! Thanks...

With my father recently passing away I wanted to take my mother and othe family members somewhere that we could relax. Mountain Vista was more than any of us could hop for. The veiw from the balcony was the place see just why they call it the Smokey Mountains. The room was just like being at home and everything worked. The swimming pool was warm enough to actually swim in and the hot tub was just right. We hop to spend time at Mountain Vista in the future. Thanks to the management team and keep up the good work.

Very impressed with the property and room. Loved the cozy fireplace and the furniture was very comfortable. I immediately felt like I was at home. The bed was wonderful and the sheets were soft. The kitchen was very roomy and it is fully equipped. I wish we could have stayed longer! The only 'negative' was that you really don't have a view of the mountains. But if you know that going in it is not a problem. I have already recommended this place and certainly would go again.
