King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. Clean and comfortable accommodation with ample room for our family of 3 young children. The rooms were well equipped with extra bedding and towels. Check-in was made convenient even though we arrived late after reception was closed. Easy 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants of Gatlinburg. Next time we would prefer to stay further from the touristy part of the town, and enjoy the National Park rather than the commercialized strip.

We loved our condo. It was perfect for our family of 5, and was so clean. Everything was new. The location was great! We will definitely stay here again!
My only recommendation is for more kitchen gadgets, wine/champagne glasses, and an outdoor grill on the property. I felt the kitchen was limited when cooking there. -

Balconies are being taken over by carpenter bees. Could not stay on balcony during the warmer part of the day. They were drilling their holes in the logs. Room needs some painting. The house phone didn't work, but wasn't needed.

This is our second trip to Baskins Creek. We enjoy the proximity to downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park. Our condo overlooked a mountain stream we could hear running at night. We would definitely stay there again.

Such a nice place to stay! We stayed in room 506 and it was very clean! A short walk to the strip but far enough way where you don't hear all the noise! We all said we would stay here again!!!! Only thing is the front desk closes at 6!

We had a fabulous holiday weekend at Mountain Vista Luxury Resorts in Nov 2011. We stayed on the 5th floor. The convenience to walk to town is the best feature! The property is very well-maintained and the staff are all super-friendly. This is our third visit to these condos and we'll absolutely go again.

It was great! The only thing was that my brother is a smoker and we was not told it was a non smoking facility. We was on the fifth floor so for him it was an inconvience. The room itself was a vacation. One more small thing was that you had to clean your
room before you left. I have vacation all over the world but I have never been asked to do the housekerper job. Really? Would I refer this property? Of course. Its beautiful. The staff were great. It was worth the money. -

We found a combination of 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom units worked very well for our group. Having private bathrooms, yet a large common area where we could all gather for breakfasts was perfect. All three units were immaculate with comfortable beds and plenty of space. We had three delightful nights!

Great Place! stayed for years, this year little Mexico across street provided plenty of problems. Fights at night, loud music till 1:30AM. Police did nothing.Can't say we will return until problem is resolved. We do not need to hide in fear on a vacation along with spending a lot of money.

The condo was great - very clean with a convenient location to the Parkway. My only complaints were the worn out pillows which were very uncomfortable and the TV's could have been upgraded. Two minor issues with what was otherwise one of the best condos we've stayed at in Gatlinburg.

The place was extremely nice. It lives up to its luxurious moniker. It's close to the Village, but it is apportioned like a much more expensive chalet up in the mountains. Well worth your vacation dollar.

We had an issue with trying to purchase the Splash and Play Tickets to Dollywood. I get a discount from my workplace,but found that MVLR got a better discount so I waited to purchase tickets when we arrived only to find out that the front desk was unable to purchase the tickets for me at the advertised price. After multiple phone calls to MVLR and Dollywood, I was unable to purchase tickets for the discounted price. After we left the condo to go to Dollywood and after approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and even more phone calls to MVLR and Dollywood, we learned we could now purchase the tickets at the condo.

Hi Josh, I am sorry that you had a problem with the ticket purchase. However, Dollywood had issues with their service the whole weekend, not just at the time you were wanting to purchase tickets. They told us the following day that their system had been down most of the holiday weekend. I know this was an inconvenience to you but it was also an inconvenience to us as well. There is a very loud sound in the master bedroom that sounds like something dripping in the ceiling. It is very consistant when the shower is running but also is random when the shower is not running. Although the unit was very clean, it just did not have the same overall kept appearance that 501 had.

We stayed here for the first time in 2008 in unit 404. We thoroghly enjoyed it and the only complaint was the uncomfortable steel chairs on the deck. Some units have very nice padded chairs but ours had the steel furniture.
This year we found that the unit 506 was not as well maintained as 404. We found screws missing or loose in the dishwasher, bathroom cabinets and towel racks. The apartment walls are scarred and really need some touch up paint. The only other complaint is that the wireless internet has a low signal a lot of the time. I am no sure whetehr it is the placement of the boosters or something else but it came and went from low to good which made downloads slow at times.
Overall, it is a great place to stay. I have pointed out some very minor things which would not affect our decision to stay there again. The on site manager, Leah is a joy to work with and always has a smile:) We looked at other places to stay last year and this year while riding around but found no place better suited to our needs than Baskin Creek.
It is becoming our home away from home. -

Only negative thing I have to say regarding this vcation was that the room was not ready when we arrived at 5:30. We had to wait an additional hour. We should have been allowed to stay extra on the check out day.
