The cabin was not far from town but you felt like you were the only on the mountain! The view was a little over grown but everything was so clean and neat!! It had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, the instructions for everything were clear as a bell, and everyone was so nice. It felt like home before we left!!

i liked the seclusion of where we were. the experience was good all around. the cabin would have been much prettier with less wall decorations and i would have liked to been able to have a fire on the rainy nights.
The cabin was perfect for our family!

This cabin was everything and more of what we wanted for our family for our Spring Break trip. We loved the hot tub on the deck and our kids loved the foosball table. We loved the decor and cleanliness of the cabin. We had issues with our hot water and a nice man came out right away to fix it. Our service was great! We loved the location, as it was not far from the Gatlinburg strip. We loved our views especially when it snowed! We really hope we can come back to stay in this cabin again. Thank you for helping our 4 night trip be so enjoyable!

Proxmity to town was great. Access was good and no problems parking. Noise from property with pool in front of this cabin was annoying in evenings so time on deck was limited. Location of upstairs bath in relation to bedroom left something to be desired but for just a couple would be no problem. Cabin was clean and served our needs during this stay.
Cute and comfy cabin

The bear country cabin was wonderful, it is so charmingly decorated and comfortable; we would definitely rent this cabin again. The road to the cabin is curvey and somewhat steep, but easily navigated and nothing outside what is to be expected from a moutain location.
Best visit by far...
Loved the cabin and the decorations...

We loved this cabin. We have stayed with Jackson Mountanin Homes 3 or 4 times before, but this was by far the best cabin we have stayed in. It is the perfect distance from town.

The staff was very friendly and personable when we checked in. They gave great directions to get to the cabin. The cabin was perfect for our family and it was very well kept. The location was beautiful, couldn't see the other cabins around us. We loved everything about the cabin and our stay. Our kids stayed in the upstairs room with the jacuzzi, and the spent the majority of their time relaxing in the tub watching TV!!!
Great experience in the Smokies!

We were so pleased with Country Bear Cabin, from the detailed bear decorations to the incredible views of the mountains and the easy drive to town. Thank you so much Michelle and Tammy for the great service and incredible deal we got and the fast response to our tv and fireplace issues (needed VCR hook up and pilot lighting to fireplace). Our only request is to have a tv in the downstairs bedroom and access to internet in the cabin. Other than that we were absolutely pleased and will definitely be back to enjoy another great vacation in beautiful Gatlinburg!!

Bear Country Cabin was a wonderful rental for my family (3 adults, a 2 yr old, and an 8 month old)! It was far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of the country, but it was close enough (about 8 minutes outside of town) that we didn't feel too far out. The cabin is gorgeous and is decorated with tons of bears! The pictures show that it has older style television sets, but they have been upgraded to flat screens. We will definitely return!
Bear Country Cabin not bad

This is a lovely cabin with nice features. Clean, close to town and park. Could use more table lamp lighting in living room and more comfortable furniture - beds, sofa, chairs, etc. but top quality in every other way. Good appliances, ample space, not a great view, but still pretty. We had a nice visit and would consider staying here again.

The four days spent in Bear Country Cabin were marvelous days indeed. The cabin was spot-less...well appointed...and the staff at Jackson was more than helpful and accomodating. We'll definitely be back...Can't wait!

Bear Country cabin was a beautiful cabin. It was in just the right location, not to far from town but away from others with a nice wooded area. This was our kids first stay in a cabin and they loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

The Cabin was very clean and we did not have to ask for anything. The view was nice and location was great for a stay at Gatlingburg.

Quite. The type of quite that calms the soul and gently moves your spirit. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven away from the busy hectic day to day life bear country cabin is your escape. It has a nice winding road up to a flat drive way to park at. The cabin is clean and well appointed. Neighbors are within sight but his will change as the trees leaf out for the spring. It was just my wife and I for the weekend. We never heard a car or a person besides ourselves. We were sung to sleep our last night by rain falling on the metal roof. Next morning we woke to snow.
This is about the 5th or 6th time we have rented from Jackson Mountain homes. The internet pics are always spot on. Lynda is very professional and knowledgeable as are the rest of the staff. From dual family holiday vacations to our own couples weekend retreat we have always felt that we receive just what we need and a fair price as well.

We loved this cabin and will definately stay again. The cabin was wonderfully decorated and was so cozy. We had great weather in the mid 60s. Wasnt in Gatlinburg but was close enough to enjoy different locations. Our check in was the fastest ever. Jackson Mountain Rentals is the way to go. Thanks for a great weekend.

This is the 4th Jackson Mountain log home we have stayed in and it was wonderful again. It was very private, but just a short drive to Gatlinburg. Everything was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. When I look for a place to stay near Gatlinburg I always turn to Jackson Mountain Homes because I know I will never be disappointed.

My stay at Bear Country Cabin was wonderful. Its beautiful inside and out. Everything you need for a longer stay. There were a few dogs roaming around that showed up multiple times and hung out with us. If you are not dog friendly a different cabin may be better, but these dogs were fabulous, they were so sweet. The area itself is very quiet even during the day.

Our first imprestions where the name is right with five inch wide muddy bear foot prints on teh porch and deck, but with no farther sighting was dissapointing to some in our party, everthing was just as the crew with JMH said it would be and we will be back !

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear Coutry Cabin. It was in a remote area, yet close to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The kids loved the game table upstairs and the adults enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who travels to the Gatlinburg area. Jackson Mountain Homes is wonderful!

The Bear Country Cabin was great! Our family of four, two adults, two children loved it. It was beautiful inside and out. We were very comfortable and it felt like home. Its close enough to everything to drive to, but far enough to get away so you have privacy.
We plan on going back in the winter. But be advised that you may need snow chains or a 4WD vehicle to get up the road if there is snow or ice. Otherwise it was a fun drive up and down.
