We spent a weekend (5/2-5/4). The cabin was beautiful, well stocked, convenient location. Late arrival process excellent. Will definitely be back.
Nice, large house

We arrived Tuesday night to find that we had no hot water. The maintenance had forgotten to turn the gas on. The after hours service did send a repair guy out, who after an hour figured out that the gas was shut off. The rooms were all very large and the beds were comfortable. I thought that for the high price, the towels should have been nicer. They were all rather thin and non-obsorbant. There were also dead insects on the window stills. Again, for the price, I would have expected all areas to be cleaner.
In general, we were happy with the house, but I will probably not rent from this agency again due to the higher price. Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Mountain Haven. We are glad that you were happy with the house and apologize that the hot water was not working when you arrived. Thank you for letting us know so that we were able to send someone out to turn the gas valve on. We have scheduled the house for a deep cleaning. Again we apologize and sincerely hope that you will choose Jackson Mountain Homes in the future.

The cabin was roomy and very nice. Everything was great. The only negative would be the driveway. Only room for four cars and car #3 and #4 have to park on a hill behind the first two cars. Backing up is tricky as well as entering the driveway. You have to pass the driveway, make a u-turn and then enter the driveway. Still, unless you need more parking space, accommodations were wonderful and near downtown Gatlinburg. Wouldn't hesitant to stay again.
Mostly wonderful! Great location!

Enjoyed cabin! Large, clean, and kitchen well stocked. Kids loved video games, DVD players, and all tv's. Jacuzzi in bathroom great, also. Only drawbacks was the awful driveway and weak jets in hot tub. Had to go up hill and turn around to approach driveway from angle to get into it. Hot tub jets barely made the water move. They came and looked at it and said the pump was too small to do anymore more. Should really bubble and didn't. Cabin is beautiful and very enjoyable except for these problems. We did have a great time. Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Mountain Haven. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the cabin. We apologize that the hot tub jets were not as powerful as other you may have used. Hot tubs are equipped with different size pumps/motors, so they will not all have the same amount of pressure. The hot tub has been serviced and is working properly. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you again soon.

Was a small family reunion over Memorial Day. The pictures did not do justice to how really nice this cabin/house is. Everything was just about brand new. The loft room was perfect for a little separation, bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and in perfect condition. I would think winter would be outstanding here and very pretty. I will admit like others the driveway/enterance was a nail biter for us flat landers.
Over all I cannot commend the owners/staff for making this a perfect stay.

Everything about our cabin was perfect! It was extremely clean and wonderfully cozy. We were arriving at 2am and the after hours check in process was a breeze. The directions were clear and we had no problems at all! We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be returning!

This was our 5th cabin rental. The cabin has a great layout and is super stocked with everything you could need while staying there. We definitely recommend this cabin and are going to book it for next year's vacation.

We enjoyed this cabin a great deal. It was our home away from home. It had all the amenities we were looking for. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub almost every evening and the pool was just up the street. It was close to downtown and convienent to a grocery store. If they would only get a comfortable swing chair on the porch, I would say this cabin (Mountain Haven) was just about perfect.
Loved Mountain Haven!!

We absolutely loved the cabin. The cabin was well stocked except there wasn't a hair dryer. It would be beneficial if that would be noted, as it's usually assumed that there will be one. Very minor though.

loved the house it was beautiful and location of each room and the decor was by far the best. We have stayed with Jackson Mountain homes before but this was by far the best! Cannot wait to return. Location of the house was also a plus very close to town.

Really enjoyed this cabin. By far it was one of the clenaest I've ever stayed in. Would highly recommend it to all my friends. The only drawback is the entrance to the cabin. Coming off the road into the driveway is very tight especially if you have a larger size car or truck/SUV. We drove past the driveway, turned around and came back down. Was very pleased with the location.

The cabin was great! The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were plenty big, each with a closet, dresser and TV. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils and dinnerware. Cabin was very clean. We enjoyed being close to the arts and Craft community. Swimming pool was within walking distance and my granddaughters really enjoyed it. Close to a grocery store and Gatlinburg business area. We would rent this cabin again.

comfortable, clean, 3-br house

Mountain Haven is a comfortable, clean, 3-br house near Gatlinburg. It best features are the large downstairs living room/dining room/kitchen room, the huge master BR, and the wrap-around porch. The worst feature is the steep driveway, which could be a problem when there's snow and ice.
The house is surrounded by enough trees to make it feel isolated; I was surprised when I realized there were several other houses nearby. There's no view, instead it feels like you're deep in the forest.
All in all a very nice house; I'd stay there again!

Mountain Haven was immaculately clean and well maintained. We enjoyed having 3 king beds and spacious rooms. The wrap-around porch was a joy to sit on and the upstairs porch gave us a secluded spot to be at peace. Very close to everything, yet quiet and woodsy.

We really loved the cabin and the location, but the driveway was a little tricky. The guest before us let in a cat and made our stay too short in the cabin only got to spend two nights. Jackson Mountain home was excellent in making other arrangements for us. Wish we could have stayed the entire vacation at this cabin. The cabin we was moved too was also very nice and enjoyed our stay at the new cabin.

This home was very nice. The location was close to downtown without going way up in the mountain. We really enjoyed the large porch. Would be really nice if it had some rocking chairs. The drive way was hard to access without going up the road and turning around. We enjoyed our visit and would stay there again. The price was very reasonable for what we got.
Really nice cabin!

We spent almost a week in the cabin and it is really nice. Great amenities and really good location. We would stay here again. The only down side is the driveway. Kind of steep and a little tight with a couple of SUV's like we had. May be somewhat tricky with ice or snow around. Other than that, a great house and a great stay, thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy mountain cabin. It is beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Having 4 children under the age of 5 we really appreciated the gate on the deck which they could not open. The home is located close to the grocery store which was great for us. It is only minutes from Gatlinburg. Sitting on the deck in the evenings and mornings was so relaxing. The community pool is very close by. Thank you for a lovely stay in the mountains.

Perched on the side of a hill on a wooded lot filled with native rhododendrons and mature trees. The cabin was in great working order, has all of the expected appliances and amenities and was very clean. We had a great time and would recommend it.
The road it is located on is steep and trying to turn onto the driveway while driving up the hill is difficult at best. Just drive 100 feet more to the top of the hill and approach it from the that direction.
It needs an outside locking trash can. We had to take the trash to the rental office every couple of days.
