The Floridians
Clearwater, FLWonderful cabin for families
Left on 05/23/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This beautiful cabin is ideal for family groups, multi-generational reunions, or any group wanting room to spread out.
We found the cabin to be everything we had hoped and more. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped and the view... it's not called Triple Mountain View for nothing!
We used the pool table and air hockey for family tournaments. The hot tub was ideal after a day of hiking or sightseeing. The appliances are all full-sized so you can easily bring in a week's worth of groceries and have no problem cooking if you wish.
When sitting on the back porch(es), you can't see your neighbors and the area was very quiet. (Most of the houses are not rentals, but private residences.) At the same time, downtown Gatlinburg is a very easy drive for when you want dinner, entertainment or activities. There is a small but well-equipped grocery store nearby also.
The wi-fi was very fast, which was important to our techie family. We had multiple users on at the same time with no problem.
We didn't see any bears around the cabin, but our son saw a bobcat.
I guess our only complaint is that we bought a PowerBall ticket while in TN, but did not win. Ha ha! I guess you can't have everything!
Quick answers to questions that we had:
Blender: yes
Hairdryer: no
Paved road: yes

We are repeat customers of JMH and really have a ton of confidence that any cabin we rent from them will be more than acceptable. Triple Moutain View was great. The view was the best we have ever had and the layout of the cabin is great. The kitchen was well stocked, the TVs were new, the beds comfortable. Really, it could not have been much better. The drive up there is steep but fairly typical, but the nice thing is that the driveway for the cabin is very large and accessible unlike some others you see.

Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We were originally booked to stay at the "back to nature" cabin but due to an unexpected wash out of a road leading up to the house, we were notified that we would have to change locations. Given the fact that we are somewhat familiar with the area, we asked if there was any way possible for us to stay in the general area of our original choice? Jackson Mountain Homes offered to put us in a bigger, and just as beautiful cabin.. The view was amazing! The day after we arrived they called to make sure everything was satisfactory. After leaving we realized that we had forgotten an expensive knife that we had brought along with us... We called on our way home and asked if there was any way that it could be retrieved and returned to us. We got home February 10, the knife arrived in our mail on February 14th! Our experience was nothing but wonderful! We wIll definitely being going back!

Left on 09/12/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We originally had a cabin booked somewhere else for labor day week. However, when we arrived to a dirty and unkempt place I called Jackson Mountain Homes right away. This cabin was beautiful. It was well appointed and stocked with all of the kitchen items we could ever need. The hot tub was awesome and it had a killer view. Located very close to Gatlinburg, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

We have stayed at many cabins in the area over the years. This was the cleanest cabin by far. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to put heavier blinds on the windows of the doors of the bedroom on the lower level (the sun pours in early). We loved the view of the mountains, and the nearby trees were great for birdwatching.

A few twist and turns and your in a absolutely wonderful log home.
Not sure how old this home is, but everything appeared brand new!
Spacious, comfortable, and economical vacation for us and our 2 kids.
We enjoyed all the wonderful amenities and the view is truly awesome!
We spent a lot of time in the loft playing pool and the hot tub just relaxing.
Beds were awesome, everything was very clean!!!
Outstanding vacation home. Pretty easy to get to(don't use GPS takes you only about half way to cabin) use the map they give you and you'll be there in about 8-10min from Gatlinburg. Paved road all the way!
Highly recommend this company and this log home! -

It was as good as it looks like on the internet. We loved the stay..! Great location, good response from maintanance, and nice mountain view...!
Only thing was, there are so many bugs around you and unfortunately we found some inside the cabin too..!
They should do pest-control more frequestly inside. Honesly I have not seen freaky bugs like this in my entire life..!? The worst part is I was bitten by one of this bug at nite in sleep, and I noticed it next day,!Response from Jackson Mountain Homes - 04/06/2012

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Triple Mountain View. We are happy to hear that you loved your stay! While, we do have regular monthly pest control by a professional company, being in such a heavily wooded area, coupled with the early spring we have experienced, insects can be a nuissance. We are sorry that you were bitten by an insect and hope you are okay. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you again soon.

Oviedo, FLGreat Family Getaway!
Left on 02/01/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We stayed at Triple Mountain View for a family vacation from Florida. The house was wonderful! There was six of us and with the three separate levels we all had enough space to spread out. The entire space was clean and well maintained. Jackson Mountain Homes provided plenty of towels and accessories like trash bags, dish soap etc. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The drive up the mountain was a little hairy, but there's plenty of parking when you arrive. There's an easy to operate fireplace (although it makes the upper level very hot!) and plenty of activities in house (pool table, air hockey, hot tub). It never got cold enough to go skiing, but we were not disappointed! The house is up the mountain, but you're minutes away from town including the grocery store. Great experience! We'll be back!

This is just a great place to stay. The interior is comprised mainly of beautiful, new pine. The house looks almost brand new. We had two issues, and maintenance showed up within two minutes of our calling the office. The service was impeccable. The only constructive criticism - and it's minor - is that the smoke detector needs to be placed somewhere other than directly above the oven as it went off a couple of times when we opened the oven while cooking.

This cabin was beautiful, homey, and relaxing. The staff at Jackson Mountain Homes was wonderful. We arrived after they had closed, and they had our check in procedures very handy. The directions were great to get to the cabin. They called us the next morning and made us feel welcomed. We enjoyed our trip very much, especially when it started snowing the last night we were there. We woke up the morning it the scenery was covered by snow. It was beautiful. Can't wait until next year. Thanks JMH staff for a great stay.

We stayed at "Tripple Mountain View" over the Labor Day holiday. The staff of Jackson Mountain Homes was friendly and efficient. The directions to the cabin were easy to follow so we had very little difficulty finding the house. There was ample parking, and transferring luggage from the car to the cabin was easy.
We were quite pleased to find the accommendations so warm, charming, and clean. All appliances were modern and worked well. If not for the high energy of the teenagers in our group we could have easily stayed in the cabin for the entire weekend. We did have a little trouble with the hot tub, but the staff at JMH set us on the right course.
The view of the Smokies was great, and we did get to see a bear walk through the back yard on the last day of our stay. If you are considering this cabin for your retreat or vacation you will not be disappointed. The teenagers all enjoyed the activities in Gatlinburg, but as for me the cabin was the highlight of the trip. -

Triple Mountain View was a gorgeous cabin! The location was just minutes from the main drag in Gatlinburg and also within minutes of a grocery store and gas station. We had stayed in a cabin in Pigeon Forge in the past and the proximity and comfortable relaxing feeling of Triple Mountain Few made us decide this is the place we will stay from now on.

I stayed here with 4 other adults and 1 toddler (6 people total) for 4 nights. The cabin is so beautiful, inside and out. I liked how all 3 bedrooms are on separate floors. It gave us all privacy when we wanted it. The beds are extremely comfortable with nice linens that I thought were the perfect weight for the season. The WiFi worked great the whole time. The location is great... unbelievable view, peaceful and quiet, but only a 5 minute car ride to the center of town.
My only complaint is a very small one. All of the bathrooms only had 1-ply toilet paper. We're staying in a luxury cabin and they can't provide decent toilet paper!?? That was annoying, but not the end of the world.
Otherwise, the cabin was perfect. We loved it and would absolutely consider staying here again if we make a trip to Gatlinburg in the future. -

We have stayed at many different locations and rented several cabins in Gatlinburg over the past 23 years and this had to rate at the top. The directions from the office to the cabin were perfect and the location was great. The cleanliness, decor and layout of the cabin was fantastic and the view from the two covered decks were spectacular! This cabin strikes the perfect balance of amminities. You definitely enjoy being there but it's not so over-the-top that you feel like you have to be there most of the time to get your moneys worth. We'll definitely book with Jackson Mountain again and try to get Triple Mountain View again.

The web site was easy to navigate, and very informative. So booking our cabin with the amenities we desired was easy. Communication from JMH was timely, clear, and helpful. Check in was a breeze and the young lady that checked us in was a delight, and turned us on to a great family pancake house.
The cabin was easy to find, and georgeous!! Nicely furnished with comfortable seating, nice flat screen tvs everywhere (March Madness started day of check in), each one with a dvd player. The cabin was clean, with dual thermostats so upstairs didn't cook. We took Grandma along with us so we had 3 adults and two children of 8 and 10 years. We were in the hot tub every day, and enjoyed the beautiful view from all three decks. We cooked most meals at home (except for mentioned pile of pancakes) and had no problem using the grill or kitchen. Place even had a nice blender for a Margarita, or 3. Anyway, we loved Triple Mountain View, and would certainly rent it, or another of Jackson Mountain Homes properties again. We hope to be back this fall. Thanks for the well needed R.&R. !! -
The Richmond Family Christmas
Brentwoood, TN.Christmas at Triple View
Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in December 2009
Our Family of eight enjoyed the Christmas Holiday at Triple Mountain View and it was beautiful. Upon entering the home we were greeted by a tastefully decorated Christmas tree, nice touch! The pitures of the home, that were given in advance, was exactly what we got, beautiful! Being it was the holiday and a lot of cooking was involed the staff directed me to bring some extra kitchen supplies, that extra heads-up was handy. The beds were extremly comfortable and the accomdations were spacious for a mountain home. We brought a trailer with us for supplies and there was ample parking to leave the unit there. However...it is steep and very sharp-tight turns, experience was key. If it would of been snowing, I think we would of been staying at the home more, just due to the steepness. We survived 80-100 mph winds and everything was still in tact. Outside seating is also provided on both levels, so enjoying coffee and cocktails outside was a pleasure. Being it was new territory for us, the security system was also a nice touch. I would recommend this home to anyone, the view is awesome and you can "hear" the water rushing from below.
If I had to say anything negitive it would only be that it got quit warm in upstairs, nothing an open window couldn't fix and that being the pool table is open over the family room, it got a bit noisy at times. The family enjoyed the experience and we will be back to Gattlinberg. PS- The staff is one of a kind!! Five stars to them too! -

When we arrived to the cabin, we were very excited to see that the pictures did not do the cabin justice. It was beautiful. The cabin was very accomidating and spacious for 8 people to stay. I must say that the cleanlyness of this cabin was well above expectation. We had 2 children ages 2 and 4 and as we all know they love to touch everything. This cabin was so clean and child friendly without taking away from the decor. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and we hope to stay here next year. The cabin is very nice and clean. We spent most of the time in the lower level with the large widescreen TV and air hockey table. The wireless internet access worked great which was very important to me. We have stayed in many cabins around Gatlinburg and this one has the best view by far! The road to get to the cabin is narrow but should be expected considering where the cabin is located. We enjoyed being so close to The Roaring Fork Motor Trail which is one of our favorite places in the park.

Service from the JMH staff was friendly and efficient. Donnie, the resident troubleshooter, was the nicest, most patient man you could ever hope to deal with. We needed help with the satellite system and alarm system. I do think it would be helpful to have complete instructions for use of the tv's and satellite readily available to renters....at least those of us serviced by cable a/o to satellite systems. The wi-fi worked seamlessly. As for the house itself, it is beautiful and very well equipped. The view is top notch. The beds were very comfortable....nice linens. The only thing that would enhance the experience would be equipping the bathrooms with more than the bare minimum ( 2 per bath) of thin, small hotel grade towels. The starter basket of supplies in the kitchen was great. Overall, a great house I would recommend to others.

Where to start?
Location: If you look up the address on Google Maps, you will see that this is JUST outside of the national park. Literally minutes from the parkway (main drag) in Gatlinburg. Extremely convenient. Saying that it's extremely close to Parkway may turn some people off. It shouldn't. This home is tucked up some very steep and winding roads to a very serene location.
View: Absolutely stunning. Extremely picturesque. Mountain view in the moonlight is awesome. Triple mountain view is as it describes - showing 3 ranges.
Privacy: While there is a large home closeby (on the right as you face the house), and a few homes below down the winding roads, we had a pretty private spot. Not as secluded as some, but very very nice.
Amenities: 5 HD TVs and DVDs, Pool Table, Air Hockey, Hot tub, 4 full baths, 3 bedrooms (King, King, and 2 queens) On the bottom level there is a pull out sofa as well. There are two large decks with rockers. The sofas on the main level are brand new and leather.
Overall: We are so pleased, I would love to come back here again with my family. Excellent stay. -

My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Triple Mountain View. The road up is steep, but the view once we got there was like no other cabin we have ever stayed in! The view was just amazing!
The cabin is also very close to Gatlinburg and the park which made the stay even better. It snowed during our time in the mountains and the fireplace in the cabin was very cozy.
We also loved the pool table, air hockey, and the hottub. Those were all great things to keep us busy when we couldn't get to the park, because of the snow.
The cabin was very clean and the beds very comfy. Be careful with your trash in this cabin, a bear will try to carry it off into the woods and make a huge mess in the process!!! My family would definitely stay in this cabin again, it has been our favorite! -
