The place was fantastic, inside and out. Great bedrooms and spacious in all areas. Hot tub was on the best floor, view was great. We had a few small issues that the service team responded to ridiculously quick. Location was extremely close to downtown and a short drive to the grocery store. However The entrance was next to the entrance for a cheap motel. Which wasn't so bad but was very easy to miss. The catacombs of roads in the residential area were hard to navigate and the directions while accurate in hindsight were very hard to understand when we initially got there. If there wasn't a resident mowing his lawn telling us where to go we would have taken forever to find that backroad path. It is tightly immersed in some trees and on a gravel road. A few of our cars had a hard time making it in the rain around the tight corner. That being said after finding it the first time. It is a very remote cabin and I loved the privacy it held. Plenty of parking space around the place. Overall a very good value for the weekend. I wish we could've stayed the week!

We stayed here for my daughters wedding. Everyone loved the house. Very spacious and comfortable. We were visited by momma bear and baby bear in the late evening. The only thing that was alittle disturbing was you could not open any windows. They were solid plate glass. I don't know if this is because of the wildlife or just by design.
The Queen of Gatlinburg is by far the BEST cabin rental in East

The Queen of Gatlinburg is the perfect cabin for a large group! With over 4000 sq feet there was space for large group gathering as well as five master bedroom suites. There is even a main floor master for any elderly in the group to avoid the stairs! The stained glass windows, vessel sinks, and inlayed floor mosaics added a richness not found in the "kit cabin" located through out this area. The HUGE game room and home theater saved us lots of money as our kids were well occupied right there in the cabin. The location allowed our teenagers to walk to Gatlinburg in minutes. Even I (age 53) could walk to the Aquarium in 20 minutes. Yet, it is totally secluded on a fully wooded lot with no view of another cabin.
A mid week garbage pick up is a need for groups as big as ours.
We had five couples, along with children (10 adults and 9 kids). The Queen was perfect. The game room was great for the kids (and some of us adults too). I will request the Queen of Gatlinburg each time I visit.

This is a really nice home but lacks the ementities like extra lighting in kitchen, sprayer for kitchen sink lacking, there were no hot pot holders/kitchen towels, etc., no lights on front porch, not enough insulation between floors--could hear people walking, talking. It is a really nice home, we enjoyed ourselves, but it jsut needs the finishing touches for the price we were charged for our stay. Read more
Thank you for your comments. The owner has been made aware of your concerns about the lighting, kitchen sprayer and need for kitchen items. We apologize for the inconveniences you had while in the cabin and hope that you will try a different JMH cabin next time!
Beautiful and spacious

This home was great! Easy to get to from the main road. We had a great time at this chalet. Plenty of room to get lost in and we felt at home! We have been coming to Gatlinburg for over 20 years now and found this to be the best. We like the keyless entry and the 5 bedroom with all having full bathrooms. We wish it wasn't so expensive or if they would of offered rent for 4 days and the get the 5th free. All of the other places we have stayed in offered this. We hope next year to stay there and maybe get a better deal on the price. We did find the hot tub did not get very warm other than that everything was taken of. Thank you! Read more
Glad to hear about your stay. All of the JMH cabins are individually owned and most of the cabin owners are on our "Specials Program". Unfortunately, Queen of Gatlinburg isn't one of them. However, JMH does run free night specials throughout the year, check out the Specials link on our website at www.jacksonmountain.com.

We spent five wonderful days at the Queen of Gatlinburg cabin. Our family takes a trip every year in March and every year the family is getting bigger. This year we had 11 family members that stayed and this cabin was perfect. The house was decorated beautifully and there was plenty of room for everyone. The young ones enjoyed the puppet theater and skeeball not to mention the 80" projection screen. We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing the kids along. We'll be back next year for more fun!
