Been booking Chalets from Jmh's for about 12 years. All the places we stayed were absolutely gorgeous. Artistic Mountain is top notch as well, highly recommend this one if your staying with kids. Everything from the decor to the view is amazing. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

The cabin was clean and homey. We loved our stay with JMH. The ladies at the office were easy to work with and the reservation process was thorough. Our only complaint was the number of washcloths. We had 5 people for a two night stay and 8 washcloths. Over all our stay was wonderful and we will definitely stay with JMH again.

We have rented thorugh Jackson Mountain Homes before and decided to try it again. This cabin is near the top of the resort. The roads are good, though steep. Our minivan made the climb without any trouble in good weather. The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed in addition to a spectacular view of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
The only trouble we had was with the hot tub. It was cool and we barely were able to use it because of the temperature. We called the office about it. They sent somebody whle we were out, but gave us no explanantion as to what was wrong or what to do about it. Check in was rushed and impersonal, so no explanations were given there either. She handed us the reading material and said it was all there, which was not much.
Otherwise the cabin was cozy and comfortable. We also brought our pomeranian which was permitted with a pet fee of $80. dollars. For just 4 nights it might have been more economical to use a kennel.
The other cabins on this property are close enough that you can hear people's conversations when they are out on their balcony. Our neighbor had his windows open and we enjoyed his singing in the shower. That didn't bother us much though for those brief occurances.
This agency has nice properties from what we've seen. Next time we might look into another agency that has lower fees and more personal sevice.Response from Jackson Mountain Homes - 04/30/2013
Manager
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Artistic Mountain. We hope that you enjoyed your stay at apologize that you experienced any trouble with the hot tub. Upon arrival at the cabin, it was discovered that the hot tub was in the incorrect mode, which only required the press of a button to adjust to the correct mode.
We do apologize that you felt the check-in process was rushed and impersonal. Most of our repeat guests, such as yourself, are familiar with the information in our check-in package, so the check-in process is brief; however, we are happy to answer any questions that anyone may have. We will use this as a training tool for guest services.
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely hope that you will choose Jackson Mountain Homes in the future. -

Everything was perfect!! Awesome views!! We had such a great time. We all loved the hot tub~ especially after a long day of walking, and sightseeing. The cabin was decorated perfectly, with all of the comforts of home!! The pictures posted on the website are beautiful, but it doesn't do it justice!! Can't wait to go back for a longer stay!! Working with Jackson Mountain Homes couldn't have been any easier. You could tell they wanted us to enjoy our stay, they even called after we got there to make sure everything was ok!! I would definitely recommend artistic Mountain, and Jackson Mountain Homes to anyone looking to stay in this area!!

Left on 09/07/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The house was very nice. Everything was exactly as described on the website. The beds were comfy, the linens were clean, the hot tub outside and the jetted tub inside were phenomenal. They provided almost enough paper products (toilet paper, paper towels) to last the week we were there, but we had to purchase dishwasher soap.
The upstairs shower was a little disappointing. The water pressure was so low it felt like it was just dribbling lukewarm water on you, however the shower downstairs had great water pressure. The kitchen was completely stocked, so we were able to cook all of our meals at the cabin.
The outside grill was a little wobbly, but it worked.
The garbage cans were supposed to be designed to keep bears out, however they didn't do a very good job. Every time we took a bag of trash out, a bear got into it, ripped it apart, and spread trash all over the place. We called the office and they cleaned up the mess.
The house was located at the very top of the housing development, and while we didn't have great view of the mountains, we could still see them and they were beautiful. The pictures of the view that you see on the website are cropped to remove all of the trees and houses around you.
Check-in was breeze, though we did feel a little pressure to get to the office before it closed at 5:30. They only gave us a 2 and half hour window to check-in in person (3:00 to 5:30). They did not inform us that we could have picked the keys up after hours. Well, they did hint at it in the confirmation email. (I just checked my confirmation email and it said to "check your reservation package," still not sure what that is.)
Over all, a great experience and I would definitely stay with Jackson Mountain again.

We stayed at artistic Mountain for 3 nights and it was just awesome. The cabin was clean, well decorated, and just the space we needed for the 3 of us. The highlight of the trip were the two bears that came two mornings in a row to find their breakfast in trash cans. I got some really great pics of them.

Apreciate Jmh's friendly staff. It was a good place for 1st vacation with our pet. The cabin itself was comfortable & nice. Loved the whirlpool tub. Also liked the flat parking & cul de sac area. Reason for only 3 stars is because the front view from the living area is mostly obstructed by another cabin. The mountain views are why I visit, so this was disappointing. Smaller reasons :can opener didn't work & sharp knives needed sharpening or replacing. Overall, still had a good time.

Loved the cabin - it was well maintained and clean. It was a little small for a two bedroom. We had 4 adults, thought it was a little cramped. We didn't like the location of the hot tub because it was close to the street and was difficult to open the top because of the small area it was in.

We had a wonderful stay in the Smokys, and artistic Mountain was a large part of that. The cabin was the right size for a family of 4, the decor was warm and woodsy, and the views magnificent. The hot tub and pool table are great additions, and we used both daily. The Internet mostly worked. A little slow in the evening and one night it was down completely, but that's not the cabin's fault. More likely thousands of vacationers uploading spectacular fall foliage pictures at the same time!

My husband, myself, our 2 teenage kids, and our 2 small dogs stayed in artistic Mountain in July of 2011. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the furniture on the top deck. The location is great and during our stay was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting on the top deck during the late evening thunderstorms. We loved the little side yards with the picnic table and grill. Very convient for us all. My only complaints are...the stairs are a little steep and i would like to suggest closing in the top deck with a gate or something. But overall..really liked this cabin! Being in a culdesac made accesiblity perfect.

Artistic Mountain is an incredibly comfortable home with more amenities than one would expect from a vacation rental. In addition to the many amenities, the layout of the home if perfect for a Smoky Mountain experience. The only regret is we really couldn't take full advantage of the what the home offered since we were extremely busy with enjoying the many local attractions available in Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. We are looking forward to returning to this home in the future! Thanks for the experience!

Beginning at check-in, the service was great. They made us feel "at home" when the took a picture of our dog Tuff and told us he would be on facebook under "FurryFriends"!The view from our cabin was breath-taking.We ate breakfast on the porch every morning. The balcony worked well as we could throw a stick off the side and Tuff would have to run down the mountain, get the stick, and run back up.Great exercise for him while we were able to enjoy rocking in the chairs chairs. The cabin was very clean and stocked with more supplies than we originally thought. We appreciated the way the cabin was split up with the main bedroom, living room, and kitchen on the top floor for me and my husband and my daugher and her boyfriend had a bedroom/bathroom with the pool table and juccuzzi on that level. There was enough privacy between the two couples when needed. It was very convenient access to Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain National Forest, white water rafting, Dollywood, Forbidden Cavernes, Cades Cove and many other attractions.People in Tennessee were very courtious to us, giving that "small town feel" about the area. Two of the four nights we were there, we cooked at the cabin. No matter what we cooked at the cabin, we had everything we needed. It was very relaxing after a long day of attractions.Having the pool table and juccuzzi kept us entertained. We espically loved being able to have our dog with us.I highly recommend staying at Jackson Mountain Homes to anyone visiting Tenessee!

The cabin was neat and clean. We had one issue that was understandably missed, but fixed very quickly. I don't like that pets are allowed in the cabins---but of course that is great for pet-owners. The kids love having the downstairs to themselves and enjoyed the pool table, toys and having their own TV. It was the perfect size for our family. It's up near the top of the mountain so the view is wonderful. The pool was nice to have too. The staff is very friendly and accessible. Check in and out was a breeze.

The cabin was just the perfect size for the four of us. We took our two shitzus too and there was sufficient area for them to go outside. Cabin parking is in a culdesac so there is room for smaller kids to run around or ride a scooter or something. Not every cabin has that. We loved it! It's not very private, but none of the cabins are.

My wife and I, along with our 25 year old son, stayed here for a long weekend. It was a very nice little cabin and perfect for us. We were even able to bring our dog. Nice furnishings with pool table and hot tub. I don't understand why folks can't clean up after their dog.

environment where we were able to enjoy family meals together, soak in the
hot tub, and cue up a rack of balls at the pool table. The views were beautiful
and I loved the beautiful wooden bench in the living room. The bedroom
accommodations allowed for privacy for us and our grown children with whom
we were traveling. Even the dogs loved hanging out on the front porch. It was
a perfect venue for our family get together. We will definitely return to the
