Jackson Mountain Homes is our #1 source when finding a great place to stay while in Gatlinburg. We have stayed with them at several different cabins, The staff is friendly, helpful in finding a location that will work for all purposes and all cabins have been excellent stays, We usually bring about 6 to 8 adults. The Cabins are always extra clean, Hot tubs always in great conditions and views are second to none. I highly suggest anyone looking for that "Special Place" of memories to give Jackson Mountain Homes an opportunity to make your next trip to the mountains unbelievable and a trip to remember. We have also tested them for any hiccups that may come along and You can rest assured and feel confident that in the event something does pop up unexpectedly they will come to your aid.
The Cabins we chose in Gatlinburg were close enough to get some great views yet the commuting was quick and easy to get to the places we wanted to visit, walk the strip or just buy groceries.
These folks are sinply the "Very Best"" in Gatlinburg Cabin Rentals. Give them a shot. They won't let you down. -

I really loved this place. It is a great place for families. My four year old granddaughter could not quit talking about how beautiful it was and my grandson asked if we could just stay.

Happy Bear is a very nice comfy cabin inside. Be sure you know how to work an alarm before trying:)and the phone is on the bedroom to the right if the alarm goes off!!
Parking is very tight-only 2 cars fit; if neighboring cabins park more cars it is even tighter. Cabin is nestled with other cabins, it is not on a hilltop by itself as it appears in the picture.
Everything was very clean, until I removed the sheets and found an unwashed mattress protector. Please wash these between guests.
Used the Hot Tub and Pool table a little - they were very nice also.

A total of 3 couples stayed in this beautiful cabin for 4 days. Each person was satisfied with the appearence inside and out. What wins the award is the closeness to downtown Gatlinburg, it was literally minutes away. Great experience, we will stay here again.

My family and I had a great time in the cabin and in Tenn. We will always stay at the Happy Bear Log Cabin when we vacation in Tenn. We enjoyed ourselves!!!

We had a wonderful experience with our recent rental. The location was great and the cabin was very well appointed for 4 couples.
It was very nice each couple having there own bathroom. It was like having individual suites. -

If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable mountain getaway close to Gatlinburg, this cabin is perfect for families or groups of friends. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The only issue I had was that the pictures of the outside make it seem like it is very secluded, and it's definitely not. We were within 30 feet of two other cabins. We actually stood in front of our cabin, trying to figure out if it were possible to take the picture on the site, which shows no other cabins, without photoshopping anything. There was a problem with our keycode, but there was someone to help us within a few minutes. Overall, good experience, but could have been a bit more honest in the advertising.

We are terribly sorry if you feel as though the exterior photo was misleading. The photo was taken by one of our staff members during the summer when we began renting this cabin and was definitely not photoshopped. We agree that cabins such as this, which are located in rental communities or resorts, do have other cabins nearby. In the photo online of the kitchen, you can see another cabin through the window. We would never want anyone to feel as though they were misled as our goal is to ensure that each of our guests has the most enjoyable stay possible. We are sorry that the location of this particular cabin did not meet your expectations and we hope that you will choose Jackson Mountain Homes again in the future.

Had a great time and look forward to coming back. Only problem was we have a two year old with us and the room he was staying in, we found a pill of some kind on the floor. Cleaning crew need to really check things, could of been a major problem if the two yr old found it first!
