Close to town, in a cabin village but being at the end of the cul-de-sac gives it a real sense of privacy. The view from the deck(hot tub) was very good. Be careful with the final turn up the drive way.

We have stayed in several cabins with american Patriot Getaways and this is one of the worse cabins for the money. The beds were harder than the carpet floor. We called aPG to see what could be done about this and they said they would bring out a foam pad. The brought this out and it was only 1/4" thick so it didn't do any help. This cabin was very dirty (cob webs everywhere), also mini blinds broken. The big doors that go outside to the deck from the living room had no blinds on them at all and the neighbors could see right into your cabin so we had to put a cover over the doors to get some privacy.

The only drawbacks were:no blinds on the big doors that lead to the deck. This was an issue for privacy and for bright sunlight at various points during the day. Also, the lighting esp. in the kitchen was a bit inadequate. There were also several lamps that were missing switches that the owners may want to replace. Otherwise, the cabin was pretty and had a nice view. It was very clean upon arrival!

We enjoyed our stay in awesome Escape very much. Only 2 things not to our liking. The fireplace did not work (and we were really looking forward to that) and not any counter space in bathroom.

We were more than happy with this cabin! Never stayed anywhere that clean! Everything you could need was here! Had some tiny ants in upstairs bedroom. Service came pronto but didn't really help. Ants we can live with. Awesome view on deck and loved hot tub! Owners obviously take special care and pride in their property. Our teens said this was their favorite vacation. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the cabin.It had a great view of the mountains and we were only minutes from Gatlinburg. We wished the speed bumps on the road going to cabin weren't so high.
