Once we got to the cabin, everything was as expected, minus the grill. Maybe because it was cold, I dind't want to bother with the tiny grill.
The worst part was finding the place. I called customer service several times and was put on hold, while my gas was dwindling, my kids were sleepy and hungry after 12 hrs and my phone reception was not good. We finally had to go down the mountain 2x, have dinner and found reception at the restaurant. We used the google map feature and was able to write down all the roads we didn't have to go into and would pass to eventually get to our cabin.
Bed was comfy. We took our airbed for my girls in the living room. Fireplace was cozy, husband loved the hot tub, cabin had all amenities needed. Plenty of towels and surprisingly (toiletries for kitchen & bathroom).
The area was great... there is a gas station at the foot of the mountain, and a supermarket nearby. Our minivan did well up and down the mountain (during rain, snow & fog). -

Definitely in the woods. The road to the cabin was very steep. It was just me and my husband on this vacation so the size of the cabin was just right.Didn't use the hot tub, was too cold, so I can't comment on it.The tv in the bedroom could be updated, but other than that it was a delightful getaway.

Do you really want to know? We were excited to stay in the cabin and yet upon arrival the cabin, which was cleaned by a new employee, was
dirty. We have stayed in cabins, in condos on the beach, and never before have we arrived to a dirty environment. We left for awhile so it
could be cleaned. But it was shocking to walk in to a dirty cabin. An older employee did a good job cleaning up the mess. After that we did
enjoy the cabin. The older employee came and verified that the cabin
would not pass inspection. It was a first for us. We have used american
Patriot Cabins several times and never had this happen. We were shocked. -

The cabin was very small for a family of 4. When we walked in, you had to walk through a bunch of spider webs because no one had been in there in such a long time. The hot tub was nice. The master bedroom had a king size bed and was nice.

I have to say I was very disappointed with our cabin. The hot tub didn't work properly, the place was crawling with bugs but the worst thing of all was the misleading pictures. We called in advance to see if we could hold a small wedding ceremony in the yard and were told that it was no problem. We chose beartop because of the very misleading pictures that there would be a side yard with a deck overlooking it. When we arrived there was quite literally no yard to be used. We had to shove everyone in the front yard and do a ton of landscaping the night before. We were up until 2am weeding and raking leaves just for a small space for the bride, groom and pastor to stand. The place was tiny and the pullout bed was so uncomfortable it was useless. I have always been impressed with your cabins but not this time.
