The water system was terrible. It had air in the lines. Could not take a shower or use the sink without it spitting over and over and over. And at that time the water would turn to ice cold back to scalding hot back and forth.

A nice little economy cabin - not fancy but quite adequate.
Could use an alarm clock in the bedroom and someone needs to check the porch support under the hot tub. It has a bit of a sag and outward lean. Hot tub was schorchingly hot on arrival - had to turn down the temperature and let it sit with the cover off for a couple of hours before being able to use it. -

This unit is very tiny, not much room to move around in. We stayed here for our Honeymoon so it worked quite well just the two of us very quaint,quiet and romantic. Would stay again.

This was our 1st time to the area and renting a cabin..we have been twice since, renting a different cabin each time using Patriot Getaways ... great price, it could use more comforable furniture in the living room area...loved the hot tub... maybe consider changing the 2nd bedroom, their was a foosball table, remove it and maybe put a jacuzzi tub, for indoor activity~~ as small as it it could really be decorated up for more of a honeymoon cabin ~~ maybe screen in the hot tub area for more privacy ~~~ We would surely rent it again if those changes/updates were done ! (We loved the other 2 cabins we stayed in also... hopefully, will make it back up there soon)

We we got to the cabin, we loved it. After a 16 hr drive we went right to sleep. Woke up to a dog barking on the porch. We called the Patriot Getaways and they said there was nothing they could do.. Im allergic to dogs so I could not go outside to "shoo" it. We went to take a shower and it would go from warm to extremely hot to ice cold with no warning. They had a book to sign, like a visitor log and we read threw some of it and had people with the same problem back from 2008. This issue was never fixed? To me it didnt seem like they wanted our business.Other than that it was ok. not very private but it was ok.
