My family and I really enjoyed The Elk Ridge Lodge, which was furnished beautifully... it was like a grand getaway for the adults, away from the children. We enjoyed the sunset setting behind the mountains, the hot tub, barbeque grill, game room (literally...pool table, game systems, hundreds of board games, and a foos ball table)with wet bar, and the many fireplaces throughout. The snow on the mountain was lovely! Our stay was very comfortable, enjoyable,and rejuvenating.

This is the 3rd time that my family and I have stayed at the Elk Ridge Lodge @ Settler's Ridge. It simply gets better each time! The cabin has all of the amenities you could possibly want, or need, while vacationing away from home. Everything down to a decorated Christmas tree should your stay happen during WinterFest or the Christmas season! In addition, the community of Settler's Ridge is a "hidden gem!" It is an area that is far "above" all of the traffic and fun going on down below in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet convenient enough to get to all of the attractions in only minutes. Our family goes to Gatlinburg every couple of years and we always plan to return to ERL and american Patriot Getaways... provided they keep the amazing Christmas Day promotion that they offer each year! Our family highly recommends ERL and american Patriot Getaways!

I have stayed in many rentals around Gatlinburg, and this is probably the best. The view was magnificent, it was located in a nice area and we even got to see a bear while on a run in the neighborhood! I missed not having the porch swing they said there would be, so I hope they put one back (I know swings get abused though), but I could easily come back here without a second thought. Clean, comfortable and so many things to entertain the kids. We just loved sitting on the deck and looking at the view! The staff was so friendly (unlike a lot of rental companies). It was a great experience.

elk ridge lodge was outstanding beautiful views extremely clean top notch all the way around. the only thing better was the customer service. we originally scheduled our vacation in 2011 but my day suffered a stroke and passed away 3 days before we were scheduled to arrive. they allowed us to have a year to reschedule our vacation due to these circumstances. when we came in 2012 our rental was not accessible for one member of our party who is hadicapped they immediately found us a new rental that day which was elk ridge these people are fantastic to work with they truly care about your satisfaction

Elk Ridge Lodge was just as described - nicely laid out with lots of fun things to do. We all had a great time. Only downside was that the bears got in the trash every night making us clean it up every morning.

We have stayed in 7 different cabins in PF/Gat. area for the last 6 years. This was by far our favorite. I always take kitchen cooking items w/ us because not every cabin has everything. This one did. In fact, it was so well stocked, there were no empty shelves to put our food on. We had 12 people there and at no time did we feel as if we were "on top of each other." The big deck was great for the grandkids (ages 3 & under) to run back & forth on.
I love the Settler's Ridge area and this street is at the very top of the mountain. We love it. Discovered a back way and took 20 minutes off our travel time.
The only disappointment was the lack of a swing which was shown in the pictures of the cabin.
Will probably try to stay here again. -

Truly enjoyed our most recent visit to Gatlinburg using aPG and staying at the Elk Ridge Lodge. Beautiful location, wonderful cabin, and great company to work with. We have a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. Very spacious and plenty of activities included in cabin. Enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and rocking chairs on the deck. Something for everyone to do!

The cabin is spacious with modern appliances. It really has 4 master bedrooms with individual bathrooms. Great balcony and a view to die for. Would definitely recommend and come back to the same one next time in TN.

If you want great views, this is the place for you. Not an easy place to get to, but worth the effort when you step out on the back decks. Google map the location and go out the "back way". You will find this much easier. Living room is too small but the rec room downstairs is great. Needs a door at the bottom of the stairs to keep the noise down there. Parking is good and the ramp is a nice feature. You will enjoy this house!!!

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was very nice and very clean. We were very impressed with it. The kids had plenty of things to do and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay there again.

This cabin has it all. Spectacular view, all the ameneties you could want, convenient location. The drive to the cabin is so much fun also. My husband & our 2 children traveled with extended family & friends. Total there were 9 adults & 4 children aged 1 1/2-14 years old. We were all thrilled with the accomadations & there was room for everyone. We are going again next sring break & will probably rent the same cabin again.

I recently retired after 32 years in education. I told my family I would take them on a family vacation the summer of my retirement. We rented the Elk Ridge Lodge cabin and my family all agreed it was the best family vacation we have ever taken. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for my wife and me and my 3 kids and their families. The view from the deck was amazing. They all agreed that they would like to return and do it all over again.
