Shiloh is a great cabin. It is within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. The final hill is a little steep but if you plan on hiking in the Smokies then it is no big deal. The hot tub did not work properly and would not heat up at the end of our stay. The beds were nice and the cabin is well equiped.

Cincinnati, OHNovember in Gatlinburg
Left on 12/12/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We decided to go to Gatlinburg in November to see the Christmas lights and just have a good time. We love staying downtown, but missed the cabin experience. Then, we found Shiloh which was "within walking distance" of downtown Gatlinburg.
The cabin was very nice, clean and had great views. It is a half mile to the downtown area, which isn't bad... but about 1/3 of it is straight uphill. It is walkable and we did it several times during our stay, but I think you need to be in pretty good shape to do it. The traffic was horrible so being able to walk everywhere made that steep uphill climb worth it.
We felt like we got the best of both this time... easy access to downtown and a cabin stay in the mountains. We had a great time and hope to do it again! -

ChapmansboroA great time at Shiloh
Left on 09/27/2011 for a stay in May 2007
Our family and friends stayed at Shiloh cabin located in Gatlinburg. We were very pleased with the accomadations because we had a bedroom downstairs, one upstairs and one on the main level, and plenty of room to relax, a large kitchen with lots of available cooking supplies, a grill which came in handy while we were there and a great deck. We were close to everything but it still felt like we were away from it all. I remembered staying at this cabin years ago because it has a round bed in the downstairs bedroom and my only dislike is that the room did not have a door on it but other than that, we loved the location and would stay again.
