Our stay in this cabin was just perfect in every way possible. We were looking for a cabin that was private, had an excellent view and with all the amenities of home. And we certainly got it with this cabin! We could not have been more pleased and definitely will be coming back. The location was very convenient also to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which was a big plus too. I would highly recommend this cabin to future vacationers!!!

We were impressed with the Cabin.
The Decor was wonderful, the Cabin was neat
and clean. And the pictures on your website
truly represented the Cabin.

Great cabin.. wonderfully decorated. The drive up there was very very steep. I was afraid we wouldn't make it. So unless you are a strong courageous driver, I'd pick a cabin closer to the ground.

We had a fabulous stay in this exceptional cabin!!! It is as gorgeous as the pictures show! The view is amazing!!! The ride up is steep! Make sure your vehicle can handle it. Beautiful kitchen...if you want to cook make sure you bring basics..salt, pepper, seasonings, oil etc. the pots & pans are a nice complete set. Lots of towels, beautiful bathrooms! The location is ideal & the view off of that gorgeous deck is breathtaking! Looking down on the night lights of pigeon forge is mesmerizing! I hope to stay again next year!

Overall we were very happy about our stay at "The Original american Dream". Attention to detail was paid in every area.
Inside the cabin is very roomy and open, and all the windows are designed to let in the wonderful view.
A few answers for questions I had
Can you get Espn,fox,CBS, ect. on the television (we love football)? Yes we didn't miss a football game.
Verizon 3G worked well throughout the cabin with 3-5 bars of service.
Can you see the sunset from the hot tub? In January not so much, but later in the year the sunset is the focal point for the wonderful view.
How private is the cabin? There are several cabins nearby, but even in January with all of the leaves off the trees we had no issues with privacy. There is definitely more privacy here than in many resort cabins communities.
Other reviews referenced steep drives and trash. The grounds around our cabin were very clean, and the drive is somewhat steep, but not as steep as other cabins we've rented.
Are there additional video inputs for the television (for game consoles/cameras/etc)? Yes. The large television downstairs had all the standard RCa audio/video inputs we needed.
Are there any games in the cabin? Yes we found dominoes, Jenga, cards, dice, and of course the pool table upstairs.
Do Gps's really not work in the mountains as the disclaimer says because I've got a really good one. I used both an older GPS and my smartphone, both worked to a degree but I was glad to have the printed directions and maps in hand our first time to the cabin. We almost got lost listening to the GPS.

This cabin was very nice. It would have been nicer had the hot tub been under a roof or screened in, but overall we had a wonderful time and the weather was great. We loved the fireplace and the showers and tubs were exceptional. We would probably stay here again.

We are so happy about our stay at the original american dream cabin. Everything was very clean and ready for us. We wanted a cabin with a view and this is it. The evening lights of Pigeon Forge were awsome while we relaxed in the hot tub outside on the deck. The fireplace was a very romantic area in the cabin and the wild life was fantastic. Thank you so very much for recommending this cabin.

this is the second time we have stayed in " The orginial american dream" it is absolutely fantastic! The cabin itself is decorated second to none, its features and decor is outstanding. Very roomy and the view is out of this world. Large enough for a family of 6 or for the honeymooners ( thats what we were on our frist stay back in 05 ) it is the one cabin that I would recommend to anyone staying in Gatlinburg. In fact we plan on staying again this December of 2011.

Nice Cabin.. nice view - Dangerous drive. Hot Tub gave everyone a seious Skin infection when we return home. I knoe because I have a Hot Tub. Trash was not removed before we arrived and the animal had strewn it all over the place... and We cleaned it up - Questioning the Maint Schedule
