Service was wonderful as usual. Great weather for sitting on the front porch and listening to nothing at all. All rooms were clean and well supplied. Game room was well used. Loved fireplace and it kept us all warm and comfy. Loved the arts and Craft area and did some great shopping. Close to stores and attractions. Very easy to check in and out.

Roomy cabin with great location

We enjoyed the cabin. There were 7 adults and 6 children in our group. There was plenty of beds for everyone. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed, even an extra large crock pot. I would recommend bringing a can opener. There were two manual ones, but we struggled to get them to work. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of linens and towels. The showers were the only thing I would take points off for. The master bedroom shower was either too hot or too cold - couldn't really get it just right. The downstairs shower's water pressure wasn't very good. The upstairs shower sits really low - adults have to duck to get under it, but it's probably okay for kids. I was told the game room shower was good. The hot tub was great and a nice temperature. We all enjoyed playing pool and air hockey. The arcade games are just okay. The one by the door didn't work when we first got there, but we unplugged it and re-plugged it in and it worked okay. The cabin is in a nice location right off the craftsman's loop, but the driveway can be a little scary going up at nighttime. Overall, it is a great cabin and we really enjoyed it. Jmh staff was friendly and easy to work with. We will stay with them again. Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Adventure Lodge. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the cabin! We will assess the can openers and showers right away. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and your kind words. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The rental company had a problem with the cabin we were supposed to get so they upgraded us to this one. The wi-fi was very inconsistent which is why I took a star but it was a beautiful place. Lots of room for everybody to spread out plus the game room was a huge hit (bring a screwdriver - the air hockey pucks kept getting stuck and we had to unscrew the end and pull them out). My kids are 6, 7, 10, 12 (3 girls and 1 boy) and they stayed entertained the whole time. There were also 4 adults so the 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths were super nice. The beds (at least the ones on the main floor) were very hard but the couches (not pulled out as beds) were very comfortable for afternoon naps. The kids kept talking about coming back to the adventure Lodge next year. Jackson Mountain Homes were awesome at taking care of us!

For our family of 6 adults and 2 teenagers this was the perfect cabin. For our older adults there was only 3 steps to get up on the porch and the hot tub, game room, kitchen and living room was all on the main level. This was very convenient for them. The game room not only kept the teenagers entertained but our "big" boys as well...The living room and dining room were spacious enough for our family of 8...Privacy was great!! This cabin sits back off the road so you dont see or hear any traffic. Very convenient to the arts and Crafts 8 mile loop. Our family really enjoyed our time together and we will definetely rent this cabin again. Working with Jackson Mountain Homes is very convenient and easy.

We planned a family reunion and wanted a place big enough for everyone with plenty of room in case of bad weather. Adventure Lodge was the perfect fit. In the end, we only had 7, but we easily could have fit 12 or 14 as planned. The kids had plenty of room to run and things to do, like the game room and hot tub. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for large family dinners, which saved money versus eating out. Upstairs has two BRs with two queens each, but only one of the four bathrooms.

This is a great cabin to stay at- the pool table and air hockey and arcade games entertained the kids, while a jigsaw puzzle kept the adults busy! Great, private location!

We had a nice experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful making our reservation and getting us checked in. The cabin was large and comfortable. the kids loved the game room although one of the multi-game arcade machines was fairly old and the screen was blurry so they did not play that one. Was out of the way and quiet but not too far from everything. would definitely go back.

Overall everything was wonderful. The only 2 issues we experienced was:
#1 the water pressure in the showers is not the greatest, but manageable.
#2 If you have aTT you will not have any cell service

Check in was fast and efficient. The adventure Lodge was a spacious place with an awesome view. Each room was clean and the decor was very homey. We appreciated having the kitchen set up and the game room. The only concern was the steep driveway.

Each year my husband and I rent a place somewhere and our entire family gets together for rleaxation and renewing family bonds. Last year we stayed in Boone and the cabin was nothing like the pictures showed. We had to scrub the entire place before we could even use it. I'm very happy to say that was not the case this year with Jackson family homes. The cabin was clean and the service was excellent. We could not get on the internet and a tech rep was sent immediately to handle the problem. Check in and out was easy and hassle free. The cabin was in a very private setting and we loved being close to everything but not having people right under us. My grandchildren (and big kids too) loved the game room and I think that was the favorite thing, watching them have such a great time. We would certainly deal with Jackson Family Home Rentals again.

Everything we needed for a 3 night stay for 17 family members, were all adequately met - kitchen utensils, crockery, bed sheets, towels, etc. The location was very private, quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a holiday hideout. Making the reservation for the lodge was very easy and we made it barely 24 hours before we were to arrive. We arrived about midnight and the papers/keys were exactly where they should be.
Only complaint - no bears visited us!

We arrived after hours and got our packet and found our way to the cabin. After unpacking it was late and we got into bed sleeping so soundly. The cabin was clean and very spacious. 4 bedrooms, 2 with kings (the beds were very comfortable), 2 with double queens. The next day, we enjoyed the gas fireplace, hot tub, game room, and the tvs. The two downstairs (king) rooms do not have tvs, however the gameroom and family room have great tvs. We watched alabama and Tennesse play with friends on Saturday. The cabin is so spacious that we all had a great evening. The forest around the cabin is private so you do not have much noise. The cabin is near other houses, but surrounded by trees giving the illusion that it is private, Family Dollar and East Parkway, a grocery store and other attractions are nearby. We had children with us from 8 to 28 and all had a great time. We will definatley go again and try to get this same place.

Nice cabin. Everything you need is there. Great location close to downtown, but away from the hussle and bussle. Grocery store is close by. There were only 5 adults, so we had plenty of room and bathrooms. I would not recommend 18 people staying here. Though it can sleep that many, there is not enough sq footage for that many people. My recommendation would be 10 max. It was extremly hot this summer. Upstairs had a hard time cooling off. Some extra working floor fans would have been helpful. Instructions on how to get the multi-video games to work would have been helpful. But we figured it out after about a day. The trick is to push the little black button next to where you would insert the quarters. The monitor on the one near the washer and dryer is not the clear. Pool table, air hockey table, and hot tub were the family favorite. Wifi was not wired correctly (took 2 days to figure this out), I fixed this. Hopefully, it will stay that way for your stay. So, if it does not work, check the phone lines that go to it. Sat TV was nice to have and worked perfectly fine. The remotes are another thing. They are not programmed so you have to use at least 2 to make thinks work. But, we watched so little TV it was not a big deal for us. Front porch was nice to sit and relax. It is a very quite cabin. Unfortunately, we did have a medical emergency and had to call 911. The telephone connection was not great... but the EMT response time was excellent. I would caution staying there in the winter. The road to the house is fairly steep as is the parking. Icy conditions could be a potential problem. Read more

The "Cabin" was a lot like expected, it was private and quiet. The cabin was clean and the family had a great time in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Negativies are about the cabin in general. Coffee maker is old, the buttons are worn and you have to guess at what you are doing. The upstairs shower is extremely small and the shower in the master BR temp. could not be adjusted. The pool table rail was loose, needs to be fixed and the mat in front of the hot tub looks awful and the lid on the HT needs to be replaced. The biggest problem is that some general maintenance and sprucing up needs to be done. When you are paying this much for a cabin you expect things to be in good order. One stove burner could not be adjusted, again just general maintenance things that need attention. If these things were fixed I wouldn't mind staying there again but for now I would probably try a different cabin. Read more

Great cabin for a reunion of extended family. Our families of 8 adults and one young teen enjoyed the layout of the cabin, and made good juse of the game room and hot tub. Loved the location in the artists community. Would like to return to this cabin again for annual get-togethers.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at the adventure Lodge. It worked so well for our group we didn't want to 'test drive' another cabin this year. It's not the most secluded, nor does it offer a sweeping vista of a view, but it does provide an excellent place to relax and be with friends with all the amenities you may need. It's also conveniently close to the local market making those quick trips for ice and other items.
Beautiful location, well equipped

Perfect place for a large family or two couples with children. There's a pool table, air hockey, two arcade machines with multiple games, and a large hot tub.
There are TVs in all the bedrooms but no DVD players which was a disappointment. Also, I wish there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms to help cool the house.
The house is right off the arts & Crafts trail but the road leading to the house is Very narrow. I was lucky that I didn't encounter another car on that road--there's no where to pull off to go around it.

The weather was fantastic. The site is great; away from the city and the huge crowd that was in town that weekend. A couple of suggestions; add a oak toilet seat to the master and replace the shower heads with water saving shower heads, $3 or $4 at Wal-mart; they save water, energy and help with rinsing out the shampoo! They are not very pretty but they work extremely well and save about 70% on water usage and you get a good shower as well! Replace the sleep sofas they appear to be brokendown and are very uncomfortable for sitting! Read more

Service was great, as usual.
The Adventure Lodge was just as expected,
especially the Rec. Room. I purposely wanted
this cabin for the quiet location, large capacity
for my family and especially the Rec. Room since
our children and grandchildren were with us.
Everyone certainly enjoyed the air hockey, the
video arcades and the pool table.
The extra's in the Rec. Room were indeed a pleasure, since most cabins that we have rented
usually have a pool table, the extra's were greatly
enjoyed by our family.
This cabin was the best, well stocked kitchen of
all the cabins that we have rented from Jackson
Our only disapointment was the food prep. area
and food storage for a cabin that accomodates
A small island with cabinet storage would be great.
Also,a cabinet for food & supplies would fit perfectly in the corner by the deck door.
This was our only disapointment.
We would certainly be interested in renting this

First, thanks for making the directions so clear. We found the cabin on the first try without any problems. And the location is perfect - far enough off the highway but still only a 10 minute drive to get to where you need to go.
Second, The cabin was stocked better than we expected - we shared the cabin with another family (11 people total including 2 toddlers and a baby)so we were afraid there might not be enough silverware, plates, pots & pans to go around. Not the case, there was plenty and then some.
All the advertised amenities in the game room worked perfectly and hot tub was a nice touch. The A/C was awesome downstairs. Because it is on a single heat pump system, the upstairs tended to be a little warmer but the temps cooled off on the second day of our stay and it wasn't an issue for us.
Overall, we highly recommend this cabin to others. Its cozy, comfy, and was just the perfect size for our vacation in the Smokies.
