First time with Jackson Mountain Homes. Falcon Crest was perfect for just two people. Had some snow but no difficulty with all-wheel drive. Customer service was excellent. We were running late on arrival and staff called to make sure we had the arrangements for a late arrival. We'll be back.

the service from Jackson Mountain Homes was excellent. we arrived late, and had failed to call(as we were supposed to) informing them about that fact. when we called the afterhours number, the staff person was gracious and helpful in getting us to our home right away. the home was beautiful, clean, well equipped, far enough from other homes to have privacy, but close enough to businesses for convenience. we would like to return

We loved our stay at the Falcon Crest cabin. It was close to the quiet east side of Gatlinburg but secluded up on a high hill or mountain(I lived in Colorado for awhile!) The place was beautiful, clean, 2 covered porches---one overlooking the Smokies with a hot tub there and a huge jetted tub in the Master. Jackson Mountain Homes was the rental agency and easy to work with. As soon as I walked into the place and went to sit on a rocker on that back porch---any tension that I had just melted away. The owners of this cabin have taken great care to give people a peaceful, beautiful get-a-way. I would highly recommend this place and would love to go back again someday.

My husband and I loved staying at Falcon Crest. The website does not do this cabin justice. It was even better than we expected. The cabin had a hot tub, Jacuzzi, fireplace, king size bed, two porches with rocking chairs and a swing, and high speed internet. The cabin was secluded but still only 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Jackson Mountain Homes were so friendly and accommodating. Making reservations and check-in was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I and our 2 teenage sons stayed at Falcon Crest for 3 days in March. It was heaven on earth! The view was spectacular, the hot tub relaxing and everything we needed was found in the cabin, including a pizza cutter and corkscrew! They thought of everything! We fell in love with the area. We are glad we arrived in daylight as it would have been a challenge to find it in the dark when you don't know the area. The staff at the office were pleasant and helpful. The boys stayed on the pullout out couch which was roomy. What you see on the website is definitely true to what the cabins look like. It was spotless! We will definitely be back and would definitely book with Jackson Mountain Homes again. First class!

Everyone knows that pictures can be decieving, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. In this case, pictures didn't do it justice. We couldn't believe how spacious the cabin was for a one bedroom. It was clean and decorated nicely. We especially enjoyed the view while relaxing in the hot tub on the balcony! The kitchen was spacious as was the huge bedroom. I think what we liked the most , as if there wasn't enough already, was the privacy. The cabin is at the top of the hillside at the end of the road. We really felt secluded there. It is also very reasonably priced, it was much less than several hotels we were considering. We were still just 10 to 15u min from downtown Gatlinburg. This was sp much better than being cooped up in a tiny hotel room. There is no doubt, we will definitely return to Falcon Crest!

what a great time we had at the falcon crest! perfect for two, this precious cabin is replete with charm and ambiance. from sweet heirloom antiques to the extra private setting, this little cabin has it all. our daughter lives in gatlinburg so we really enjoyed having enough room to have her over for board games and dinner, yet it has a cozy romantic touch, perfect for any couple.
extra clean and seemingly secluded even though it is conveniently located in the arts & crafts community.

Rented Falcon Crest april 27-30, 2012, for an anniversary visit. We spent nearly all our time in the National Park, and it was great to come back to the cabin for relaxation after a day of hiking (nice hot tub!).
The log cabin-style home is a very nice retreat from city life, but has all the amenities of a modern home. Although there are some other cabins in the surrounding woods, they are not within view. The access road is one-lane, paved, but might be a challenge in the winter. The home was ready for us when we arrived, immaculate, and supplied with linens and initial paper supplies. We've had great experiences with Jackson Mountain Homes over the years (had stayed at the Blue Heron before), and this was our first time renting Falcon Crest. We'll definitely rent this unit again. The office staff were very friendly.

We try to come to Gatlinburg around February each year. We always choose to stay at Falcon Crest. It is a beautiful cabin, with gorgeous scenery! It has everything you need for a relaxing trip. It's located at the end of a road, so there is plenty of privacy. This visit, the air conditioner stopped working the second day of our vacation. We called to report it, and within 45 minutes, Garrett was there to fix it. He was very polite and did a great job! We recommend this cabin, and Jackson Mountain homes, very highly. Just don't book it the week we want to come! Ha, ha!

Location was very secluded and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. The seclusion was wonderful but we were very close to Gatlinburg proper and the many car trips that are available in the Smoky Mountains. We hope to stay at this location again in the future.
The home was just the right size for the two of us. It was not what we would call fancy but it was comfortable and well supplied with towels, small washer/dryer and with the necessary items to store and cook meals. The hot tub was not used much but when we did, it was very comfortable.
No complaints. Cannot say there was anything that we did not like but this location is not recommended by us for more than 2-4 people. The king size bed was comfortable and we had no reason to try the sofa sleeper and cannot comment on how comfortable it may be.
Gives us a chance to be by ourselves.

When we stayed at Doves Nest, we had a Temperpedic bed and thought all of the cabins that were owned by the same people had them in it. We were disappointed when we found this not to be the case. We both have bad backs and our nights were a little restless because of it. Our days tho were filled with wonderful memories. We will be back. . .we'll just have to find a better bed. Also, a tv in bedroom would have been nice. Better couch also.

We've visited the Smokies many times, always camping at the N.P campgrounds, but with the H.S graduation of our youngest child we decided to treat ourselves to a nice cabin intead of the tent.Initially we were going to go to the Carribean, something we had never done before, but decided to the Smokies because we realy enjoy hiking and biking throughout the park.We chose Jackson Mountain Home and Falcon Crest based on online reviews.Check in was quick and easy.Directions were accurate, and when we arrived at Falcon Crest it was as if we were the first guest to ever stay their. The cabin was so clean it appeared brand new.We had absolutely no issues the cabin at all.The interior and exterior were very attractive, the deck had a great view of the distant mountains. After hiking or biking all day it felt great to soak in the hot tub.It is the last cabin on the lane so it is very quiet and private. Our only visitor was a black bear wandering through early one morning.(Might want to keep food out of vehicles)It was a great stay and we look forward to coming back to Falcon Crest many times. As far as the Carribean,we have no doubt we made the right decision by staying at Falcon Crest

The lady at the check-in was really helpful (though-- note that if you want specific hiking info you will need to go to the sugarland visitor center) and the directions to the cabin were very clear. The cabin looked like the pictures and was really cozy for four friends. I would recommend bringing an extra blanket or pillows if you have more than 2 for the sofa bed. The view from the porch was really beautiful and there was extra privacy because it was at the end of the road. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but that was fixed almost immediately.

I can't tell you how pleased we were with Falcon Crest! It is a beautiful cabin, immaculately clean, just far enough away from town, and completely secluded. The view was beautiful, especially from the back porch with its rocking chairs and hot tub.
We did all our own cooking and, since this was our first experience with renting a cabin, I packed tons of kitchen ware and utensils. As it turns out, I could have left it all at home. These people thought of everything! The grill (a Weber Smokey Joe knockoff) was the only thing that was really lacking. It had very little ventilation, so it was impossible to keep the coals hot enough to cook.
My only real complaint was that the living room furniture, television, and some of the decor is due for an update. The sofa and recliner were rather uncomfortable. Having said that, we'd go back in a heartbeat.
Next time we're in Gatlinburg, we'll definitely use Jackson Mountain Homes.

Jackson Moutain Homes staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was the perfect size for two individuals. It was secluded with a view of another mountain ridge. You could hear other guests at different cabins when they were loud, but we could never see them through the trees. My husband and I spent the majority of our time in the rocking chairs enjoying the view. However, there is one tall tree right in the middle of the view that my husband threatened to cut down every day. The hot tub was a nice touch on the large back porch, but you could not sit in the hot tub and see the view. The kitchen was supplied with all the amenities that we needed, and the washer and dryer were the perfect size for two people. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is large. The water pressure was surprisingly great. The shower head was adjustable. I did not like having to step out of the jacuzzi tub onto the carpet. For this reason, I avoided using the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Overall, pleasant experience. We will stay with Jackson Mountain Homes again because of their good service, but next time we will stay in a cabin with an unobstructed view.

We selected the Falcon Crest cabin from Jackson Mt. Homes for our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. We mainly use two criteria when selecting a cabin: "great/awesome" mountain views and a hot tub on the deck. We got this and so much more! The cabin was very privately located at the end of a driveway. The unit was tastefully decorated in a Victorian theme. The bedroom was very spacious and had two beautiful stained glass art pieces of falcons incorporated into the walls. The bedroom even had a good view of the mountains. We have rented several other cabins in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area in the past, but this cabin was absolutely perfect for honeymooners, anniversary celebrations, or just a romantic get-a-way! Way to go Jackson Mt.

Staying at Falcon Crest was perfect if you are looking for a place with a location close to shopping, hiking, and peace, this would be a good choice. The cabin itself is great for a romantic get away, writing, or just some quiet away from the hustle and bustle of every day living.
Being located at the end of the small cove of homes affords great privacy while relaxing on the porch in the hot tub and looking out upon a landscape of mountains. It was minutes away from the community center to exercise, fifteen minutes to hike the chimneys, or ten minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. I found it a wonderful vacation that met all of my expectations.
I hope to return again in the future.

We just spent a quiet, relaxing week at Falcon Crest. We love the quiet and secluded location. We have stayed at other cabins owned by the same people and everything is always fresh and very clean.
Falcon Crest offered us a place to just relax, but we also took advantage of visiting the Great Smokie Mountains.

My wife and I stayed here at Falcon's Crest for our honey moon and loved every minute of it. It's plenty secluded and still close enough to enjoy everything Gatlinburg has to offer. We will be back and happily recomend this cabin to any couple looking to get away.

Nice location, great views and private.
I think the place needs to be decorated.

The entire experience was amazing! Renting the cabin was simple and easy to understand. Any time I had questions I ALWAYS reached a person to talk to who was sweet and helpful. My new husband and I came for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The cabin was just the right size, cozy, private, great views, and had almost everything we needed....other than food of course (which was easily accessible just a few miles down the road). I cannot say enough. The Gatlinburg area is wonderful and Jackson Mountain Homes was wonderful! thank you!

My wife and I have been coming to the Gatlinburgh area for years and rent a different cabin every time. Now that our kids are grown, our preferences have changed. This cabin was perfect. It is in a secluded spot and perfect for us as we wanted to "get away" from real life. The cabin was tastefully decorated, and had every convenience. I absolutely would recommend this cabin for newlyweds, and those of us who have been married for a while. This quaint little cabin has now become our favorite. As an added experience to our weekend...it snowed while we where there and made the whole weekend perfect.
We will be back!!
A perfect honeymoon

Wow!! What a beautiful Cabin and view! This was the perfect romantic getaway!. You can't go wrong with a fireplace and hot tub! Be on the look out for bears, we had a visitor our last night there. Be sure to check out the claw marks on the "bear proof" trash container! We will definately revisit Falcon Crest for our anniversary! Enjoy!!

Cabin was exactly as described. It couldn't have been any better maintained or more peaceful.
We loved it so much, we booked it again before we left for another getaway in 2009.
Staff was available when needed and very friendly and helpful.

Falcon Crest - is the perfect get away.
This was our 3rd stay with Jackson Mountain Homes and we've truly enjoyed all the cabins.
It's got everything you need.
It's private, cozy, relaxing.
You will not be disappointed!
