Our stay at Lazy Daze Lodge was wonderful. The cabin was clean, well equipped and convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Our stay unfortunately was too short. We hope to come back soon. The staff at Jackson Mountain Homes was great as usual.
Lazy Daze Review

The Lazy Daze Lodge was a great place to have a family vacation. It is conveniently located - close to downtown Gatlinburg (few minute drive) and close to a grocery store. The lodge is also located in Bear Fall log home community which has a nice swimming pool for the kids.
I would recommend this place to family and friend.
Had a very enjoyable stay!

The service was very good. We like where the cabin was located, the one thing we did not like was that we had to go the stairs to get to the kitchen and living area. There were not enought towels and washcloths. We had a very enjoyable time, we really like the Black Bear Falls area.
Good Stay at Lazy Daze Labor Day Weekend

I can't say our days were that lazy since we were only there for a weekend and wanted to do several activities but we have a great time in Gatlinburg. The kids loved the cabin. Well they loved running up and down the stairs and the pool table. My husband and I thought it was okay. Pretty clean except for the porch, which was unusable because of all the bugs and spider webs everywhere. Did not look like it had been touched before we arrive. I realize a spider web could appear in a day or so, but from the looks of the porch, the rockers and swing had not been touched for weeks at least. The furniture and appliances are pretty outdated looking, but we didn't cook so it wasn't a big deal. We did use the fridge and there were a couple of bugs in there upon arrival, but again, not a big deal. As for the cabin location, it was not bad. Fairly close to the main Gatlinburg strip. My husband and I decided though that unless we go back with more people or plan to stay longer, we would probably do a hotel on or within walking distance to the strip next time. Just seems like that would have been more fun. Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Lazy Daze Lodge. We are glad that you had a good stay and apologize that you experienced a problem with spider webs on the porch. Insects have been very active this year and yes, the can appear very quickly and the cabin had been vacant for a couple of weeks prior to your arrival. We have scheduled a deep cleaning to take care of it. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and your understanding. We hope that you will choose Jackson Mountain Homes in the future.
Wonderful home, great time, and superb service!

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg. We had a wonderful time, and we and our kids (10, 8, and 5) loved the house. Brought our dog, who did great there (and quite a workout on walks!) We felt easily at home, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Bedroom configuration was great -- with bed and bath on every level. Hot tub was great and clean. The driveway is tricky (hairpin turn, then up), but typical for the area. This is a great neighborhood, very convienent to town. Jackson Mountain Homes was awesome to deal with, they really cared about our stay! We have rented many times in the Outer Banks, Tybee Island, and Hilton Head, and had never received such caring and responsive service (we had issues with an error in our arrival date, and they called to make sure we were okay.) We were impressed the area and the many things to do.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay over Christmas! The house was very functional and had that "Home" feeling. It is convenient to downtown yet has that mountain feeling! I would highly reccomend it !

Everything about the Lazy Daze Lodge was perfect. My teenagers had the best time playing pool and foozball and I was able to hang on a different floor or out on the deck relaxing. When they got tired of playing games, they all (4 of them) climbed on the bed in the lower level and watched a movie.
Lazy Daze had all the amenities of home. The TV in the living area was large and perfect for watching football. All of the bedrooms had king size beds so there was no arguing about who slept where except when the teenagers wanted the bedroom with the jacuzi tub but it was mine.
This was my 3rd time staying in a Jackson Mountain Home in Black Bear Falls and I would never stay anywhere else. So many of the chalets in the Gatlinburg area are very difficult and sometimes scary to get to but Black Bear Falls is so convenient and accessible.

We had an awesome time! There were 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved it! Will definitely be going back. I will recommend this property to family and friends.

We loved the 3 level house with teenagers. The porch and hot tub were great. Loved that we could walk to the pool at night for an hour. House was clean and pretty easy to get too.

This cabin was truely a home away from home for us. From the first moment we walked in, it just felt right. It's beautifully decorated and the set up is perfect. We would go out during the day and shop or see places and come back to relax the rest of the evening. We played the games provided for us, played pool and fusball, watched movies, and ate supper, all together as a family. It was wonderful.

We had the greatest time staying here. The house was amazing. It was so big, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. We had young kids and teenagers, and everyone had the best time. There was so much to do just at the house! Completely wonderful and thanks so much!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and organized. All of the beds were very comfortable, and the added amenities were very nice. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee on the front swing while looking at the mountains.

This is a very nice cabin. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The only thing we were a little disappointed in were the decks. They were small with not a lot of seating and it didn't have a mountain view. You also have to climb a set of stairs to get to the main living space. Other than that, we felt at home away from home.

I enjoy the location and beauty of the setting. I would suggest that the driveway of the cabin be reworked for a easier entry. A smaller car is fine for the drive but not a regular car or minivan. We almost had an accident trying to make the turn from the right side of the street. You had to past the cabin and turn in from the opposite side of the street. The counter space in the kitchen was a problem. With small children we ate most of the meals at the cabin.
I would suggest that the owners build a small pantry with loads of shelves for groceries and the kitchen assesories that are presently on the small counter.

Everything was fine. The trash cans outside the house could be a bit larger and to accomodate cardboard boxes from like sams club. Better TV's. Flat screens for the better video game systems. Not everywhere just about 2 places in the house.
Thank you for your comments. We are happy to hear that you had a great time! We will forward your suggestions to the cabin owner. When you are ready to book your next stay, just let the reservationist know that you would like a cabin with flat screen TVs and they will help you choose the perfect cabin to meet your needs. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

there due to GPS complication but overall we had a good time, and would
definitely stay again. Thank you!!!

Lazy Daze Lodge was awesome, it rained all day Saturday but we didn't care, ate food in the full kitchen, turned up the gas fire place, played some pool and foosball, took a nap in the kingsize bed, loved it.

The home was wonderful! We had plenty of room - three bedrooms and separate space for the kids to play. We enjoyed being able to bring our furry family members with us as well - thank you for being pet-friendly! The kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub as much as possible, even though it was a rainy week. We watched several of the movies provided and made use of the game tables, etc. The cabin was outfitted with the latest technology (LOVE free Wi-Fi), but decorated in the log cabin feel. Overall - our vacation was absolutely fabulous, the park is beautiful and your cabin facilitated that experience wonderfully!
Best: Location - close to the hub of Gatlinburg and the main road in the park, but far enough up away to seem secluded.
Least: It would be nice if enough dishwasher detergent, coffee grounds, garbage bags, etc were provided for a 7 day stay. We only needed to run the dishwasher twice and had to buy a 20 pack (smallest Wal-Mart had). We ended up with quite a few leftover housekeeping-type items to take home.

The cabin was beautfiul and decorated well. The layout (one room on each of the three floors) allowed everyone enough privacy. The game room kept everyone busy. It was pleasant to have a stack of movies to watch to keep everyone busy as well and the hot tub was very entertaining. I didnt realize other cabins were so close from the pictures online. The neighbors were outside most of the night starting up there car and everytime they did it would light up our living room - even though we closed all curtains. (A-frame all windows) This made for the only inconvenience.

The mountain view was beautiful off the two porches. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs and swing just looking around. The inside had plenty of room for 10 and was well decorated. This was a great family vacation spot! Thanks

Everything was as advertised. Our proximity (walking distance) to the pool was great, and the cabin was just like it was described.
The best thing to us was how close we were to all the activities the Smokies had to offer. We could get in some hiking and sightseeing in the Park and then rest up before hitting the towns of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge at night or in the afternoons.
We'd definitely try to get this cabin on our next vacation to the Smokies.
The only issue we had, and it was very, very minor, was we ran out of trash bags. They only provide a couple small ones that fit the waste can and with a family of 6 staying there for 7 days and doing two of our daily meals there, we did need to buy some larger capacity bags.
It was a great week and "Lazy Daze Lodge" was a great place to call home for that time!
great place to stay!

this was a wonderful cabin. we went with a group of 8 and had more than enough room. we all plan on coming back again to stay here. Jackson Mountain homes was great if needed them they were there, but they did not bother us if we did not need them. cannot say enough about the cabin it was clean and in a great location. I would suggest Jackson Mountain Homes to any friends staying in Gatlinburg.

First, we were very impressed with Jackson Mountain Homes as the renting agent. Lazy Daze Lodge was clean, comfortable, and decorated with neat woodsy theme. We used it for a family gathering with our 2 adult children. Great hot tub. Far enough off the main drag to be a quiet retreat but close enough to get into the heart of Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the wireless internet, DVD selections, & pool table. We felt like someone had welcomed us into their home, not just a rental.
