This is a new luxury apartment in the pretty white village of Gaucin in Andalucia. The apartment has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very large and bright living room/kitchen. From the large terrace with both eating and lounging area, the views are amazing day as well as at night. You will find it has all the modern equipment, and this is a "home from home" kind of place. In total, including terrace, the apartment offers 175 sqm of luxury living.

Gaucin is situated with easy access to the coast and beaches which are only half an hour away. The charming town of Ronda is 35 km away. You can also easily manage day trips to Seville and Jerez amongst others. Malaga airport is 1 1/2 hours away and Gibraltar airport 45 minutes. Gaucin is ideal for walking, birdwatching or just chilling out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Strolling around the town day or night is a pleasant experience with stops for coffee, tapas and refreshments.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for ten days. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and really cared about the quality of our stay. The apartment is equipped with everything you could wish for. It enjoys a spectacular setting with views across this beautiful village, with its castle, and over hills and valleys to the coast of Morocco. It is a wonderful place in which to relax and hideaway whilst being just a short walk from village shops and restaurants. The village of Gaucin provides an ideal base from which to visit a vast range of locations, including the coast, spectacular countryside and historic towns and villages, including Ronda.

Great holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain. Gaucin is just short drive away from all andalusia's main destinations, a lovely town with lots to offer. The Vista del Castillo is a beautiful apartment with a stunning view. Tastefully furnished, very comfortable and totally equipped is perfect for a friend or family group. Lovely pool too.

Just spent our third visit at Vista del Castillio and it really feels like home.You can relax on the patio with a glass of wine and see great 10 mile views of Crestellina Mountain and the Genal River Valley below. The apartment has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, or you can walk out to some great local restaurants, or maybe you just want to go for an early morning coffee. The wood stove and heat pumps make the apartment cozy in chilly weather (we love it then). We have had overnight guests at the apartment and it is very comfortable with six people in the there. We are looking forward to returning soon. Jerry and ann Simmons.

We stayed for one week and all four of us, including two teenagers, were very happy with the stay in this nice apartment. Everything was laid out to ensure a pleasant stay. Modern, functional solutions, decoration with care. Let's hope the internet connection is stable now ... that was the only "issue" we had. Very nice and service minded caretakers helped us when needed. And the view ... we come from Norway and know what great views are, and were totally satisfied!

We had the good fortune of staying in Vista Del Castillo for 2 weeks over the summer. It was a simply fantastic apartment set in Gaucin, a lovely "white village" in the mountains. The spacious apartment was beautifully appointed, with every thing you could possibly need, a pool for cooling off of an afternoon, and views that were breathtaking. The village has everything you need for a great holiday including shops and tapas bars, local swimming pool and tennis court. It is also a short drive to the coast and other white villages, including the wonderful Rhonda. Our hosts were most welcoming and we were immediately made to feel like old friends rahter than visitors. We would return in a heart beat!

Our stay at this Gaucin apartment was one of the best vacations ever. The apartment has everything imaginable that make it a comfortable home. Drinking a glass of wine in the evening on the patio with views of the castle and the mountains across the river valley is as relaxing as it gets. We loved being able to walk in the village to restaurants and local shops for anything we needed. Gaucin is still small enough to be quaint and charming but large enough to have everything you need. We had fun on the hikes led by the local guides. We have a reservation for our return in 2011 and can't wait to go back.
