A very pleasant and lovely house and an excellent and friendly service from our host Tony made this village house not just a place to stay but a very big part of a lovely vacation in the beautifully situated and very friendly village town of Gaucin. Being a family of five we enjoyed the spaciousness of the house in three floors, the facilities, the pool and the many terraces to choose from looking out on to beautiful surroundings and "our own" little castle. Our host made us feel very well looked after without being in any way imposing. We can highly recommend this place as a holiday home to anyone and will be looking forward to coming back ourselves.

We have just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at this lovely village house. The property is perfectly situated in the centre of Gaucin, within easy walking distance of all the excellent local restaurants and amenities. The house itself is quite spacious very well equipped, and has a wonderful cool swimming pool essential for those hot lazy days.
The owner Tony Martinez is extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Excellent value for money. -

We found the house to be clean and comfortable with plenty of seating and a good dining area. The patio was perfect for breakfast and an early evening drink whilst the pool and surrounding area was ideal for wiling away many an hour in the sun. The roof terrace is just the place for a barbeque and the adjoining terrace room is a retreat if the sun becomes too hot.
The kitchen was adequate for two but cooking for more would need extra equipment. A dishwasher would be a bonus.
All in all a pretty and comfortable house for a relaxing holiday. Tony is a charming host and happy to be helpful.
Gaucin has many restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
A very enjoyable holiday. -

My stay in Gaucin was everything a summer vacation should be, relaxing, peaceful and affordable. The village itself has a unique charm and character, and locals are very friendly and helpful.
The house is exceedingly spacious and clean with its own private pool
for those mid afternoon dips.It has a fully installed kitchen allowing you to buy your own fresh local produce and cook and eat true Mediterranean flavours. During my stay I felt very comfortable and welcome and would not hesitate to recommend this authentic village house to those seeking a rememberable summer vacation without breaking the bank. -

Lovely large House, and when it's very hot it's just right for finding the cool places to sit and chill, with the pool close to hand too and the views up to the castle, makes for a great place to be, with easy access to the village shops and bars etc. Ideal for the more adventurous too, with some fantastic walks through stunning mountain landscapes, this is a photographers dream come true, well worth it..
The property owner (Tony) was very friendly and very helpfull and nothing was a problem..
Will I come back? Yes, but with my big camera.. I also recomend walking the river Genal, Just stunning and full of wildlife and a clean river for swimming! For the evenings there is plenty to do in and around the village or just chilling out by the pool with the red wine!! -

As a family with two teenage daughters we really enjoyed our stay in arrabalete. We really felt like we were on holiday and were able to relax, enjoy the sunshine, both at the house and out and about. The home was comfortable, clean and great for a family. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house as a holiday home for families or just a group of friends. From the terrace you can see africa with a lovely view of the castle. The village is a lovely white village and the night life, restaurants, cafes and bars were very good. It's just all a walk away from the house but far enough away not to be disturbed by noise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back.

Tony Thanks for a lovely time at your home. We needed somewhere peacefull to rest for a few weeks and found your hospitality most refreshing. Thanks for the walks your friend took us on while my children enjoyed the activities you layed on for them especially making soap and bread, not to mention you teaching them water colour painting all free of charge. I will definately recomend my friends to you and hopefully re-book myself sometime next year. It was truly beyond our expectation of which we are very greatfull.
Best wishes
