La Buca di Bacco is a luxury mansion set in its own oasis of natural beauty in the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany. “La Buca di Bacco” is sixteen miles north of Grosseto and a twenty-five minute drive from the beach. With magnificent grounds extending over 2300 acres and its own private 12-hole (10 greens) golf course, guests at “La Buca di Bacco” will be able to enjoy a round whenever they like in absolute peace and tranquillity. Tee-off is just less than a m...ile for the property.
The golf course is in complete harmony with its environment. The course is surrounded by big cork oaks, the wholes are bordered by small water streams and its lakes form beautiful obstacles. The Moscatello horse-riding centre offers guided excursions of various durations and difficulties. Upon request, excursions can be organised within the property or in the nearby natural parks, with the possibility to ride all the way to the sea. A horse jumping facility and private horse-riding lessons are also available, as well as boxes and paddocks to keep your horses.
Special Characteristics: “La Buca di Bacco” represents the utmost in terms of luxury and service: beautifully decorated, all of its bedrooms have air conditioning, the bathrooms are spacious with both tubs and showers, and the living area is generous and welcoming with plenty of space. Alongside the main house, the Pool House boasts the ultimate in wellbeing and relaxation, an authentic Mediterranean Hammam.
The price includes the preparation of a continental style buffet breakfast (food extra) and welcome dinner. Guest can also ask for dinners to be prepared by the local cook. The house cook takes care of buying, cooking the food, and setting the dining table. Meals will be agreed with guests and in general will be composed of a first course, second course with salad or potatoes, a dessert or fruit. Meals should be ordered and directly to the owner or delegate at least 12 hours in advance. Dinners will be served between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. The cost of food and drinks is extra and the owner will take care of providing to the guest the receipts from the grocery shops or supermarkets. The costs related to the preparation of meals and the provision of groceries and drinks will have to be settled with the owner at the end of each week.
The house has a ground floor with: double entrance hall, living room with central fireplace, dining room with fireplace, studio with Internet connection 52 Kbyte, TV room with large satellite television, DVD, large kitchen, laundry room and ironing room and one guest bathroom. The first floor has a large terrace overlooking the country and billiard room. In the garden, close to the pool, a new annex is available for the guest.
