Searching for a superb Gearhart vacation home? If so, consider renting this second-floor abode. Up to four of you can stay here at a time; a king bed and sofa bed are provided.
Amenities include a DVD player/VCR, fully furnished kitchen, and living room. You'll just love the residence's southwest ocean view. If you'd like to bring a pet along, you can do so for a fee of $11 per night.
Add to your vacation enjoyment by relaxing on the beach, fishing for salmon and sturgeon, and playing some golf.

Always enjoy staying at the Gearheart House...comfortable rooms...most with great views and not a noisy party place like some beach town hotels. Suppose if you want action this is not the place for you but the beach golf and Mcmenamins are all steps away...works for me

This was the end of a long road trip and I always love to come here to just unwind and enjoy the beautiful ocean for a few days before heading home. As usual we were greeted and treated very well. Our unit was very nice and well kept. Of course I shall return again. I love Gearheart.

We were thrilled with the room and the location! Beautiful view of the ocean and night lights at Seaside...all from a very comfortable, pet-friendly room. Beach access with our vehicle a big plus and easy commute to downtown Seaside and restaurants. We will be back!

1st, we have a small dog, first consideration, when we look for a place to stay. All services from check in to check out were excellent, professional, courtious, friendly. Room, view, were just right. Least liked, we weren't able to stay

We specifically chose this unit because it was non-smoking and no pets were allowed (my husband has pretty severe allergies). My sister's family had stayed in this unit a few weeks prior and said it was very clean. During our stay, it smelled of stale smoke and dog. There was a used ash tray in the dishwasher and dog hair all over the carpet. Needless to say my husband was miserable the entire time. I guess it's hit or miss...

Squeaky clean, well equipped, ocean view, excellent golf course and brew pub right across the street. How can I not give it a 5 star excellent? The building/complex is a bit of a 60s or 70s concrete creation. Like I said, I'll go back, but it isn't a postcard worthy site. Knocks a star off value in my opinion.

My wife and I have been staying at Gearhart for the past eight years and never been disappointed. There has been great views from the room. We have wtched whales from the rooom, We have watch stroms roll in and watch the the crab boats working off the coast. It is close to the beach and they have a variety of pet rooms. Our dog loves it there too.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time with our dog. Enjoying different weather, sun, snow, hail and rain. My family has stayed many time in room 616 at Thanksgiving time and enjoyed room 643 for the two of us and we were comfortable. Hopefully, next time we come we can get a bigger room so the family and of course the dog can join us.
