Up to four travelers can sleep comfortably in this sunny and bright third-floor 1-bedroom, 1-bathroomvacation rental. A king bed and sofa bed are provided. Consider bringing along some movies, as a DVD player is supplied. You can get ready for the day in the bathroom. Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and prepare all your favorite dishes which you can then enjoy in the dining area. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Enjoy your vacation to the fullest by playing a round of golf, joining you pals for some fishing, and digging for clams.

We have stayed in this room a few times because we like the view. It has a view of Seaside, Tillamook Rock, the neighborhood, and the ocean to the west. The room is adaquet, but is due for a major update. The bathtub is stained, and the floor was dirty,and not cleaned properly. Also, the bath towels were old and stained with something red. We use better towels to wash our car.
The old chair and couch are terrible to sit in, very uncomfortable. On the plus side, the king bed was very comfortable. We had to hang a blanket over the window blinds in the bedroom, so we could sleep. It was very bright.
Spend a few bucks for some improvments,(like Unit 640), and it will make it much more comfortable for your guests. Thank you! -

We enjoy staying at Gearhart by the Sea and have availed ourselves of this specific room several times. The setting is wonderful with ocean views and a golf course across the street. Therre is a McMenamins pub across the street that never fails to please, along with a good restaurant in Gearhart proper and of course a fine bakery right next door. It is close to Seaside and just down the road from astoria. Great palce to stay!

The unit was clean and comfortable. The white plastic blinds in the bedroom should be replaced with light blocking blinds. Even better would be light blocking curtains which would help reduce outside noise in the bedroom.

I thought this was a nice location and the beach was nice. The particular room that we had was very outdated. The furniture was old. Each room is different, so another room probably would have had a higher rating. But considering the cost, the room wasn't really worth it, even with the ocean view.

We have stayed at Gearhart by the Sea many times and have always felt the resort and the units we have rented have been very satisfactory.

With such a spectacular view, this unit could be a dream destination. But staying two nights in the 1980s-era furnishings was a real disappointment. The living room seats collapsed from over use, and the bedding was cheap. The mini blinds were bent, and the deck chairs were plastic and mis-matched. For the price, we expected more.
