Escape the stress of daily life in this comfortable and charming third-floor 1-bedroom. 1-bathroom unit. Some of the amenities in this unit include Southwest ocean view, Queen bed in bedroom, Sofa bed, DVD player. TV in bedroom. Feel free to bring all your favorite movies and enjoy them in the evenings while lounging around on the living room sofa or even watch it in your bedroom. When you are hungry take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and prepare something to your likings. Gearhart House is a no smoking property. Smoking is not allowed on decks or in public areas.

Gearhart by the sea is one of our favorite places to spend time with the kids and enjoy the beach. Just north of the tourist trap of Seaside, we can enjoy the quiet atmosphere that Gearhart offers and still be able to go 2 miles south to enjoy Seaside if needed. The view is great. We often come during the winter months, so we love the wood stoves and the kids enjoy the swimming pool.

We loved the room we stayed in. They allow dogs so that suits us. The unit was nicely furnished and what a beautiful view. The deck was nicely furnished also with a nice table, chairs and planters. We've stayed in other units at Gearhart but this was our favorite yet. We hope to rent this unit in the future. A code for the tv remote needs to be kept on hand. The remote didn't work but that didn't ruin our stay. Everything was just great.

Our family has been coming to Gearhart for years and this was, by far, the nicest condo we have stayed in. The new owners have done some excellent updating to the unit, turning it into a bright, cozy truly "beach" home away from home. The unit is also one of the pet friendly ones which we really appreciate.
The staff at Gearhart are very polite, friendly (dogs are even welcome at the front desk and get a treat!) down to the ladies who brought us clean towels and a fireplace log each day.
I will definitely ask for this unit again on our next visit.

We stayed for two nights.I beleive this room has been completly updated since it was last reviewed.All the old furniture has been replaced with new.The bathroom has been redone.The ugly orange sink is gone.
It still has the beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony along with a bistro table and chairs to sit in to enjoy the view. I would stay again -

The location was not the best that we have stayed in, but for the $$$'s spent it was fantastic compared to some others on the Oregon Coast. It was clean the staff was helpful. And in answer to the question below would you recommend it to a friend-we already have.

this was our first stay here...the condo apparently was furnished with secondhand furniture, which was uncomfortable and not very clean. Landscaping was nice, but building maintenance seems to be a great need--such as a paint job overall, rust removal on elevator frames and doors, and cleaning carpeted areas. We certainly weren't expecting 4-star accomodations; however, there really wasn't much value for the money spent.
