Escape the stress of daily life in this comfortable and charming third-floor 1-bedroom. 1-bathroom unit. Some of the amenities in this unit include Southwest ocean view, Queen bed in bedroom, Sofa bed, DVD player, and VCR. Feel free to bring all your favorite movies and enjoy them in the evenings while lounging around on the living room sofa, or you can read one of your favorite books instead. When you are hungry take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and prepare something to your likings. Owner brings pet. Gearhart House is a no smoking property. Smoking is not allowed on decks or in public areas.

The room was as expected in photos, with a great ocean view. The bed and pillows were a bit lumpy, as others reviewed.
Our king sized bed had a queen top sheet which did not reach the foot of the bed, uncomfortably. When they replaced it, per our request, they put another queen top sheet on instead of a king fitted. We had to ask twice before they put on a king fitted sheet.
Great location, short walk to the beach. Overall good stay.

We found you on the net and never stayed in gearheart before. Your web page was very informative so we decided to stay with you. It was more than we expected and had a very enjoyable stay. We decided that this is where we would make this our July destination to meet up with family and try the golf course next to you. Expect to have a great stay again.

I can't comment too much on the price, we were given a gift certificate for a 2 night stay. I liked our room. The decorations were a bit rustic, but I always like rooms with kitchenettes and the bedroom separate from the living space. One thing I wasn't thrilled with is that the gift certificate we were given had extra credit on it after the room rental, and we couldn't use the credit at the on-site restaurant. We had to use it on the gift shop items, which wasn't very plentiful. Otherwise, the location is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the hotel is nice.

We had a wonderful experience at Gearhart by the Sea. It was recommended by a good friend. The quality, cleanliness, view was just spectacular. We also played a round of golf while there. Beautiful course. Very relaxing spot to stay. The service was impeccable.
