Experience a wonderful and relaxing vacation by staying in this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit located on the first floor. Enjoy the wonderful ocean views from your windows. Bedding includes a Queen bed in the master bedroom and a Queen bed in the second bedroom, as well as a sofa bed, allowing up to 6 people to sleep comfortably in this home. Other amenities include a DVD/VCR player, two TVs, and a CD player, so feel free to bring all your favorite movies and enjoy them in the evenings with the family while lounging around on the living room sofa.

Just a short walk over the dunes to the beach, so a great location. For the value, it's unbeatable. I thought the place was worthy of another stay. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's amazing for a family.

The location was just right for a relaxing weekend getaway ... from the spacious balcony, we had a nice view over the dunes of the beautiful ocean and it was an easy walk to the beach. The size of the condo was very sufficient for our group of four adults and two small children, and we felt it was a very good value. The condo didn't feel very clean, though. The living room furniture was really dingy and worn, the carpet had dark stains in many places, the cabinets could use a good scrubbing, the wall art was extremely faded, and the patio wasn't very welcoming or tidy. We enjoyed Gearhart by the Sea very much, but would choose a different condo next time.

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 young kids. The unit was just great with a beautiful view. We loved the big kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The balcony was great and we had incredible sunset views. The decor is ok a little dark for a beach house. The Tv's are old but who watches TV at the beach. The lock on the slider door was broke but maintenance came out and took care of it. We loved the patio in the front of the unit, our kids could play outside easily. Getting to the beach was a short walk and fun to do with toddlers. I can't wait to go back.

This is our favorite condo, and we look forward to staying there every year in april. On a recent visit to the condo, I noticed that the living room smelled lived-in, so I bought some Fabreez to freshen it up. There was also candy on the carpet, so housekeeping obviously didn't catch it. I noted this on our guest card upon leaving. The only other thing I would change would be the sink, which makes a noise after everything has drained and there is water dripping from the faucet. Sort of distracting for anyone sleeping on the couch.

They need to update the TV in the living room to an LCD and bigger. We do love to stay at this location when we come to Gearhart.

Overall the stay was great. The only concern we had was that the showers did not drain very well and we all had to take showers with half of the tub full of water (it literally took 10-20 minutes for it to drain). Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the accommodations and the ocean. Gearhart has always been a place on the Oregon coast with lots of memories and good times. We are old enough to remember the "Old Gearhart Hotel" and all the fun times. We especially enjoyed our stay because our son and his family also rented a complex at the same time.
