Service rendered by the rental office staff was outstanding - they were very attentive, pleasant and genuinely happy to have us there.
The home was in a beautiful location - with a perfect view of the #8 green and pond adjacent to that - right off the back deck - simply gorgeous. I can truly say the the online pics don't do it justice!
The community, being approximately 5 -7 miles from retail shops, was ideal for us, because it gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for on our vacation, but yet being only a short drive to all major services.
The golf course was in immaculate condition and only a short drive from the villa. The clay tennis courts were also well-groomed and the resident pro greeted us warmly upon arrival. We particularly enjoyed having free access to the health club that was affiliated with DeBordieu and we took advantage of that each morning. The only improvement that I think could be made is to have a similar workout facility right on the grounds of the community, rather than having to drive off the property approximately 5 - 7 miles in order to get this service. It wasn't inconvenient, because the drive was a very easy one, but it would have been nice to have something similar to this a bit closer to us.
Overall it was just a magnificent experience. Beautiful grounds, very nice staff and easy access to everything. The only other thing I could think of as far as improvements are concerned would be to have some updated electronic equipment in the home. The tv in the bedroom was a bit too small and there was a VCR attached - I think vcr's are now pretty much outdated! :) I did notice that some of the other rental properties had up-to-date flat screen tv's available - that would have been nice, and would also have been more appropriate for a villa of this stature.
This was the only glitch in an otherwise wonderful visit! We also enjoyed the use of the elevator. -

Thank you for making us feel at home in your home. Your villa is lovely and was easily enjoyed by our family. The feel at home atmosphere extended to the neighbors, whom we were fortunate to get acquainted with and enjoyed as well. Of course the location is fabulous...golf course, beach and pool within walking distance and tennis courts just a short drive/bike away! I can imagine owning such a wonderful home someday.

What a wonderful placewe had the best week. Villa was great, enough room and space. The only thing that I did not care for was the decor it is not at all beachy, but that is just my taste. Way to many artifical plants that are very dusty and need to be cleaned. The other thing they need is to invest in mosquitosquad the mosquitos were awful. My daughter, son and myself all left with about 20 bits on our bodies not fun!!! I would go back and stay at this villa a great location to beach. The villa could stand a good spring cleaning kitchen cab. could use a good cleaning inside and out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at DeBordieu and hope to be back next summer. This particular house was in a great location for us and the layout was ideal for our family of six. The home owners were very generous in making their bikes available to us, and we took advantage of that. Also, there were many good "beach read" books available throughout the house. And finally, the kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, appliances, etc. DeBordieu is quiet and peaceful, and it felt very safe. Everyone we met who worked at DeBordieu - from the security guard at the gate to the snack bar employees - were helpful and friendly. Only a few suggestions:
1. The Marsh Lake Villa pool was in need of service. The pool was full of bugs so we only used it once and the rest of the time, we went to the beach club pool.
2. #607 Sue's Way had numerous artificial plants that were in need of dusting or being rinsed off. The house was very clean, but when I accidentally bumped into an artificial tree, a large plume of dust arose. Our family has allergies, so we are sensitive to that.
3. The outdoor planter by the garage only had dead plants in it. It would look more cheeful to either remove the planter or replace the dead plants.
