A fully modernized charming family cottage, located in a beautiful landscape only an hour´s drive from Reykjavík. It is 65 sq. with three bedrooms, each with a double bed and extra bunk beds in one of them. Sleeps 6-8 people. One bathroom with a shower. Fully equipped kitchen. A charcoal grill. A great hot tub for 8 people. Parking for several cars.
Fantastic view over South Iceland, Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull.
All the major nature pearls in South Iceland - Gullfoss and Geysir, Thingvellir, Langjökull, Kerið, Sólheimar, Laugarvatn Village, Skálholt, in the neighbourhood. Northern lights can often be seen during winter time - please make sure to drive a suitable car during winter season.
Conveniently located for a day´s trip to Landmannalaugar, Thorsmork, Skógafoss, Háifoss,Thjórsárdalur, Vatnajökull, Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón.
Hiking: various paths for short or long walks
Golf: several possibilities. 5 - 30 minute drive
Several swimming pools in the neighbourhood.
