The 20 room Retreat is located on the grounds of the Omi International Arts Center in Ghent, New York that includes a 90 acre outdoor sculpture park with groomed cross country trails. It is available to the public from THANKSGIVING TO MID-MARCH for reunions, meetings, vacations, and special occasions .
The new Benenson Visitors Center and the Fields Sculpture Park are available for rental at various times of the year for truly unique Special Occasions, Performances, and other Events.

My large extended family spent a recent weekend at The Retreat at art Omi. It turned out to be an ideal place for such a large gathering. The two houses we used offered a well-stocked kitchen, dining room large enough for our group, and common areas to meet and relax by the fire. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with amenities that exceeded our expectations. We loved wandering the rolling hills and sculpture gardens on the property. We were able to enjoy the nearby towns of Chatham and Hudson, and skiing at Jiminy Peak. Dorothy and Rose were so considerate and helpful in making arrangements that the experience was not stressful at all. The experience was so much fun and in such a beautiful, comfortable setting that we are all hoping to be able to return next year!! Thank you for providing such a great place for me and my family.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at this property. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms comfortable and the dinning room spacious enough for a very large group. We could not have been more pleased.

We had a wonderful family reunion with three spacious separate places to stay. It served the needs for adults as well as children. Our meals together as a family were great times and will be a source for lasting, warm memories.

Sorry we didn't get that fifth star for Cleanliness in your review. Since your stay in 2010 we have hired a whole new cleaning crew and our reviews since then have all been five stars for cleanliness. Hope you will be back soon.
