Set in the quiet residential community of Gibbs Glade, Todmorden is a traditionally styled 3 bedroom coral stone villa, designed so that all of the bedroom and living areas can enjoy the cooling tropical breezes.

Surrounded by lush gardens, with an amazing new large outdoor pool, sun deck, gardens and BBQ pit are perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The villa is a short walk down a private pathway next to the house and across the street to Gibbs Beach.

The villa is comfortably furnished, with 3 spacious bedrooms featuring modern en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and there is a small bedroom off of the... master suitable for small children. Bedrooms two and three have twin beds that can be made up as a king. Master bathroom has a shower and double vanity, bedrooms two and three have showers and single vanities.

The living room opens on to a covered terrace featuring an alfresco dining and separate seating area, overlooking the gardens and pool.

The historic town of Speightstown, which offers a range of shopping and casual dining options, is less than a 10 minute drive away. And Holetown, which is the centre of the west coast, is about a 15 minute drive away.

Todmorden is an excellent choice for families, or groups of friends looking for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds, but still close enough to all of the amenities that Barbados has to offer.

Located in a peaceful residential neighbourhood in Gibbs, St Peter, a short walk across the street to Gibbs Beach, walking distance to the popular Mullins Beach with beach bar and restaurants, 5 mins drive into Speightstown (historic and sleepy town with local supermarket, several local bars and bistros, banks, small museum, shops). And just a 15 min drive south into Holetown, with a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops, Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, banks, large supermarket, wine store.

  My wife, four children, and I traveled to Barbados for the first time. Through Carolyn O'Dell at BarbadosBarbados.com we booked Todmorden Villa. The villa was fabulous. We arrived to find fresh tuna steaks prepared by Janice, our chef for the week. She and Pasquale, our housekeeper, made our stay all the better. The villa was luxurious and the pool/grounds were first rate. Gibbs beach was a three minute walk away and was quiet and private. Holetown and Spreightstown were a few minutes drive away. Our hats are off to Carolyn, the management company (including Nicole, Janice, and Pasquale) and the owner. The villa would also be great for a few couples.
