Beautiful Governor's Island location! Great yard and a large deck to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. Nicely furnished lake home with room to spread out. Home has two bedrooms; one with a queen, and the other with 2 sets of bunk beds. Steps into the water with a shallow entry and sandy bottom. Enjoy both the gas and charcoal grills.

This is exactly what we were looking for... a great way for a family of 5 and their dog to experience Governor's Island without breaking the bank! We have VERY fond memories of this place.
The cottage is cute and had everything we needed. It was clean and well taken care of. A great deck and dock. The children caught several small fish off the dock. We swam off the dock and kept a motor boat on the dock. We made all of our meals at the cottage. I did SEVERAL loads of laundry.
We really enjoyed our stay! We do not smoke and I was a bit annoyed by the smell at first, but I forgot about it after a couple of hours.
