The house is an original Salentino Palazzo dating 1762 with all vaulted rooms and 4 big chimneys. There are 2 Arab style courtyards, one with a pool. The house has maintained the original material and floors but the owners have added a lot of their taste and good comfort. This fantastic Guest House is part of a bigger property of a Salentino Palazzo dating 1762. This part has been added reflecting the style of an Old Masseria.The Milano based architect reproduced the same design of Masserias using all local stone and material. Giurdignano is a small town near the beaches of Otranto. It is a town surrounded by olive trees.
The house is in Giurdignano, a very small village of 1000 inhabitants situated in the beautiful country side surrounded by olive trees just 6 km away from the beautiful sea of Otranto. It is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of the archaeological site called 'Le Centoporte', of several crypts, of which the most famous the church-cripta of San Salvatore, of two hipogean tombs of the Neolithic period (II millennium B.C.). The house is situated in the centre of town, next to the lovely piazza with a church and other historic palaces and walking distance from coffee bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarkets. It is just 5 minutes away by car from the port and beaches of OTRANTO (famous for the mosaic of its Cathedral) and 15 minutes from the natural Park of the Alimini where you can do some bird watching. Very close is also the Baia dei Turchi beach with white sand and sculpture huge rocks that have shapes of sculptures.

If you stay 2 weeks there is a 10% discount. If you rent only the Guest HOuse that is for 6 people you can have private use of the pool and courtyard. The rates range from 900 euros per week in low season up to 3000 euros per week in high season. The final cleaning would only be 100 euros and 500 euros for deposit.
