155019Great Condo Beautiful Scenery
Left on 01/09/2012 for a stay in January 2012
After our 3 day trip to Whistler we took our gang south to explore Mt Baker. Because of the national forest that surrounds the mountain the closest place to stay in is Glacier. Such a cute little town. The directions on how to grab the keys were super easy, Kai was so amazing with answering all my emails and giving me other suggestions. The condo itself was super nice and the setting was amazing. Beautiful moss covered trees and the river in the back. The kitchen was a bit small but never the less still extremely useful! There was a queen bed in the room with the bunk beds instead of the twin that is in the pictures, it does make the space in the room a little tight but it was a nice surprise. The upstairs bedroom is a loft that opens up to the downstairs living room. The fireplace gives off amazing heat and it was really nice to have the huge tv and super nes to play with! The board game selection they have is absolutely insane. And the owners had provided books of places to eat and things to do which came in handy for dinner. We all went to the casino about 30 mins away and had fun, but we did forget that in the states you are allowed to smoke inside ><. All in all the condo was beautiful and our only regret was not staying longer. Mt Baker is a snowboarders dream hill lots of areas to play in and amazing rolling hills. Cell phones don't work in town but once you get to the mountains they do work. Being all self employed we were really missing out with the wifi internet inside the unit. The condo is extremely close to the club house though but the internet is a bit slow. It is nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of work but for us emails and phone calls are how we finalize jobs ect, most of which need answers within hours so it was a bit stressful being without direct internet and phone service.

Everett, Washington, USAQuiet, relaxing stay in a newly remodeled condo w/ scenic views.
Left on 11/30/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We have been to Snowater Resort before, but during our last visit (August 2011) we stayed in the newly remodeled unit at the back of the resort near the river. The location is not far from Bellingham and not far from the ski area, and this particular unit is very quiet and peaceful.
The unit itself is darling, clean, and well stocked with everything from hairdryers, video games, board games, puzzles, books, badmitten and croquet set, lots of movies (both DVD and VHS)-- even beach towels! Also, there is a notebook full of maps, local interest, menus of nearby restaurants, and other helpful information.
The only drawback is I feel that it's a little small for a 2-bedroom that sleeps so many. The kitchen is tiny with barely enough room for one person to turn around in, and the living room and second bedroom are quite small as well. Still, it's not that bad for just a couple of days.
The owners are excellent to deal with and very helpful and accomodating. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit and I'm looking forward to my next stay this winter!
