This beautiful house is just 9 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. It sleeps up to 8 people with a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, comfortable living room and a big front porch. A washer & dryer is a great added convenience. Wireless internet is provided. The downstairs is available to smaller families, or the whole house for larger groups. The property is available to one party at a time.

Located on the edge of town, bordering National Forest. It is just a short walk to the South Fork of the Flathead River, which runs along the foot of Columbia Mountain. We are 9 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park, 7 miles from Hungry Horse Dam & Recreation Area, 15 miles from the airport, and about 20 miles from Whitefish Mountain Ski area.

The rates are based on occupancy. For the $150 per night, 1 - 2 persons, you just get the downstairs which includes one bedroom, one bathroom, and a futon in the living room. For the higher rates, you get upstairs and downstairs which adds a second bathroom and additional bedrooms. The house is rented to only one party at a time. We have a 2 night minimum.

For this trip I was traveling with my mother, who is spry, but a bit past camping.So we opted for a house. We were pleased with the house and our host, Karen. The home was clean and well cared for. They provided lots of helpful fliers for our visit to Glacier. The house is only about 20 minutes from the park entrance, so we lost no time in getting to our destination. Hungry Horse is not much to write home about, there are a few places to get Huckleberry Pie and a basic meal, the neighborhood in which the house is situated is a bit quirky, but safe and quiet.
