This magnificent detached cottage is located near to Glamis in Angus and sleeps twelve people in six bedrooms. Castleton House is a magnificent detached cottage in its own grounds just three miles form Glamis in Angus on the east of Scotland. The cottage has six double bedrooms (one with a 4 poster bed) all with ensuite facilities, making it ideal for twelve people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with an open fire and a conservatory with a games area. Outside the cottage is plenty of off road parking and a lawned garden. With luxury throughout, Castleton House is a wonderful cottage for a celebratio...n or a family get together.

Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Sky, DVD, CD, telephone, WiFi, library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for up to 6 cars. Bike storage. Lawned garden to front and rear of property with garden furniture and croquet. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Shop and pub 3 miles. Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We were already excited about trip as website pictures looked great but it was big wow factor when we actually arrived and were shown round. All bedrooms were lovely and good sized drawing room but real star of the show was the dining room with full sized bar with all the glasses, beer/wine cooler cabinet and even an ice machine! Plenty of games for everyone from big snooker room to table tennis, bar football and too many board games to count. Made to feel very welcome and can't wait to find an excuse to go back.

  The perfect party house

  This is a fabulous traditional country house, really cosy and with plenty of character - an excellent venue for family group or friends planning a holiday. The public rooms are many and spacious and the collection of books, boardgames, jigsaws and activities (table tennis) as well as TV/Sky Wi-fi and intenet access are enough to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed a week celebrating a family birthday - the bar area in the dining room was an added bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and was also suitable for use by external caterers. We appreciated being able to bring our 2 dogs and they enjoyed the extensive gardens. David made us very welcome and was keen to help ensure we enjoyed our stay.
