There are not enough stars available for me to award to the Kelvin apartment. I would give it 10 if possible! The apartment is huge, luxurious, beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. The owner was really helpful in every respect. Its location is excellent - right in the heart of the West End of Glasgow and a few minutes by foot from the underground. I travel frequently to Glasgow and the Kelvin apartment will undoubtedly be my first choice of accommodation in future.
We stayed for 5 nights over New Year with two friends and found the apartment fantastic. The owner was very helpful, the apartment very well equipped with a lovely spacious living and dining area. The WiFi was a great welcome addition too. The location is fantastic and we enjoyed exploring the West End with its many bars and restaurants as well as the many tourist attractions. We found the apartment to be great value for money and very comfortable. We will be back!
excellent service and good location
Any problem, major or minor, is handled promptly and to our satisfaction, even on Sunday. The apartment is well equipped and in good working order. Everything's very comfortable and it has a relaxing atmosphere. The bedrooms at the back are peaceful, no noise from outside. The locations is excellent, near to the subway and lots of shops just across the road and around the corner, including a supermarket in walking distance. A few minor negatives: wifi not always very strong (husband has to use laptop in kitchen to get response)and possible parking problems.
Great well located flat!
We rented this apartment for a family vacation and were delighted with everything. Service received was personalized and excellent. All our questions were answered quickly, and booking was easy. We were greeted on arrival and given an overview of the flat which was spotless and nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable dining/living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second bedroom is quite small (no room for luggage) and the beds are a little hard (must be built for sturdy Scots) but we truly enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was a perfect place to have our family together for breakfast and to get together in the evening. The location is excellent, close to great shops, pubs, and restaurants and steps away from the Botanical Gardens where you can catch the hop on/hop off bus around the city. It is also a great jumping off point if you are heading out of the city. Next door is a hotel if you need additional accommodation (as we did), and there is great collaboration between the administration of the flat and the hotel. We very much appreciated the warm welcome and great service and would happily book this flat again (in fact we did on return from Isle of Mull), and would definitely recommend it to others.
Very comfortable stay
Excellent west end location. Doorstep to botanical gardens, byres road, waitrose, restaurants etc. very organised letting and large comfortable flat. A pleasure to deal with. Would totally come again as is great value.
