I was concerned about the location when we rented this for my husband and I as well as my niece and nephew. But it was a great location with easy access to everything including several good restaurants we could walk to at night. Very nice place with every convenience and well decorated and comfortable beds. We really loved it. Much better for a family to be in a rental than a hotel. I am hooked.

Amazing place, perfect location, dog friendly

Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in February 2013

I recently went with a group of friend for some fun in the sun in Sonoma County and we stayed here in Glen Ellen. The location is perfectly located--wedged between The Fig Cafe, Glen Ellen Star and numerous wineries.

The interior is beautiful and modern with concrete floors and brick walls. There were 6 of us total and the space was the perfect fit. A spacious living room and kitchen, big bathrooms and garage space were also pluses. It is even dog-friendly! Perfect for a group and very well priced.

I would definitely come back here again, I loved it!

Style, comfort and charm in the Sonoma Valley

Left on 11/01/2012 for a stay in March 2011

Glen Ellen is a very small town with amazing restaurants, art galleries, history, and recreation. Jack London State Historic Park is 1 mile from this vacation rental and the Sonoma Regional Park is less than half mile, so 26 miles of cycling, hiking and horseback riding trails are at your doorstep. 30 award winning Sonoma Valley wineries are within four miles with Benziger Winery, biodynamic and first rate, only half mile away. Each unit is different, all are beautiful, and the kitchen is stocked with all you need to entertain. Across the street is Glen Ellen Market, with fabulous organic and fresh foods, prepared foods, and groceries. On one corner is an historic bar, and on the other an art gallery. Crave martinis and oysters? Go to Glen Ellen Inn...Want gourmet wood oven entrees family style? Go to Glen Ellen Star. Custom Jewelry? Opalesce! Massage? Magical Massage in Jack London Village. I could go on and on! The Chauvet has a great pool and each unit has a deck. This historic building is lovingly restored on the outside, and renovated for ease and hospitality inside! (It is pronounced show-vay). We recommend this location for business groups, wedding and family groups, and our friends and business associates have loved it!
